A second later she reappeared and said, "Are you not coming?"

"Where?"

"You said you wanted me to go out with you. The front door is this way."

"Viiiivvvv."

"What?"

"I meant if you wanted to be my girlfriend, dummy."

"Ohhhh."

"Actually, never mind."

"Why? I do want to be your girlfriend. I want it more than anything else in the world."

She got on one knee and took out a ring from her pocket.

"Viv, what the hell are you doing?"

"I was going to ask you first, but you were faster than me. But still, my lovely Lisa, will you be my girlfriend?"

I tried to hide my laughter and quickly said, "Yes, Viv, yes I will."

She put the ring on my finger and stood up to kiss me.

I then hugged her and whispered, "Babe, for a future reference, people do the getting down on one knee with a ring thing when they ask their partners to marry them."

"Oh, shit. I'm sorry, I keep messing everything up."

"And I love you for that."

She pulled away from our hug and held my hands, looking into my eyes. She was still blushing.

"Lis, do you think I should stay at Arsenal?"

"I want you to, but it's your decision to make."

"Would the girls want me to stay?"

"Oh, I am pretty sure they will hold you hostage if you decide to leave. They truly love you a lot."

"Really?"

"Yes!!! Absolutely!!"

"I love them too."

"What about me?"

"Oof, it's a hard one. I'd need some time to think about that."

"How much do you need?"

"How much are you willing to give?"

"Not a lot, to be fair."

"Great, then. I don't need much, anyways."

I stood on my tiptoes to kiss her, but the girls came back to the room.

"Alright, lovebirds. You can have your alone time a bit later. Now we need Viv to tell us everything about her heroic adventures," said Daan.

"Buzzkills," I shouted, to which Daan replied with sticking her tongue out.

Viv smiled and said, "Before I get to the action, I want to say a few words.

I wanna thank you guys for everything you've done for me. I know, I wasn't the best teammate at first, but you guys were patient and let me take my time to adapt. I will forever be grateful that you did not turn your backs to me and walked away to leave me all alone.

I lost my family many years ago, but now I have you guys. And I don't think I need anything more than that.

For the first time in my life, I finally feel like I belong somewhere... Like I'm finally home... That I'm not the outsider anymore."
