It’s been a week since I told Dean that I would break up Harry if I meet him, and Dean and I are actually getting closer. That day a witch came and prepared me so she could break the bond between Harry and I, but the catch is if I ever feel love towards him the bond will immediately form and it would be impossible to break it ever again, plus to break the bond we need Harry’s blood which dean took care of. I guess he would do anything to get rid of me even give up his own blood. Today was the day she would come back and officially break the bond, and one rule of preparing this was no blood for a week, so I think I’m ready.
“Tara?” rose knocks on the door and enters quietly.
“Yeah?” I turn around from the window.
“It’s time” she says and gets out a blood red dress for me to wear. Kind off ironical since I’m going to drink blood for the first time in a week. Not mention it’s Harry’s blood, which tastes like heaven.
“The dress is really nice Rose, but I don’t see why I should wear anything special?” I ask because I’m breaking a bond so what’s the big deal we weren’t even really serious about anything.
“Actually Dean picked it out. He considers this a ceremony for there will be a ball tonight after the bond is broken” she says and helps me wear it. After it’s on she starts putting a burgundy lipstick to go with the dress and my nail polish. When she finishes my smokey eye make-up and fixing my hair up, she opens the door leading me down the hall. Once we stop in front a really big door, which the guards open. It was a ballroom. And Dean standing in the middle.
“Tara, you look ravishing” Dean says walking to me.
“Thank you” I say blushing as he places his hand on the lower back making touch with my skin, and leading me to a couch.
“Hello my dear. Are you ready?” the witch says as she comes in.
“As I’ll ever be” I mumble and try to relax, but then I tense up because of the smell. Harry’s blood.
“Tara block your smelling sense” Dean says. The witch starts chanting spells that I never heard or read before in the spell book with Harry. Harry. I need to stop thinking about him for this to work. I was starting to fall for him but I’m so glad I didn’t.
“Drink” she says and dean comes and hands me the cup that’s half full with Harry’s blood.
“Use the knife on the table and cut yourself so your blood could fill the entire cup” she says as my eyes widen at what she is saying.
“What?! You never said the before!” I protest and stand up but dean comes and forces me to sit down.
“Do you want to break the bond and be free from him and your haunting thoughts of cheating on him?”
“Yes” I say and lay back on the couch. I take the knife and cut at the vein.
“Are you okay?” he says carefully not to set me off.
“Yes” I hiss and huff out when the cup was full. Now I just drink it and the bond will be broken. I raise the cup to my lips and take a small sip just to taste it. It’s obvious that Harry’s blood was sweeter and mine was bitter and thicker. I drink it all fast trying not to gag. Dean sits beside me and rubs my back gently. But I move away.
“It’s all done. Enjoy” she says and walks out.
“Do you feel anything different?” he asks and I just stand up not answering.
“Your eyes are red,” he states.
“Hungry” is all I say and walk out of the room to see rose standing by the door.
“Did it work?” she rushed to my side.
“Did what work?” I ask confused.
“The bond between you and Harry. Is it broken?” she says as a matter of fact.
“Who?” what the hell is she talking about.
“Oh my goodness. Dean!” she yells for him and goes into the room. Ok what bond? And who in the name of god is Harry.
