It’s been a week since the ‘incident’ and seeing prince charming, and everything has been terrible. Dean changed. He shouts orders, forces me to do simple things, and I’m not aloud to go out of my room except with his consent.

“Tara, Dean wants you to come to the dining room” rose says behind the door. I hesitate to stand up but eventually do and head to dining room with rose by my side. We enter the dining room and Dean waves rose off disrespectfully.

“How are you Tara?” he asks and points at a chair for me to sit in.

“Ok” I say and sit.

“Good. Today I made the chefs to cook you steak, since your training has been really good surprisingly. But all good things come to end. There is a war coming up and you are the one who will win it so all pressure on you” he says lightly.

“A-A war? You tell me now? When and against who?” I demand.

“It’s in a month or so. There are people who want to take you and kill you and burn the whole kingdom. Do you want that? You and all the innocent people in this town?”

“Of course not. But I’d rather die than the innocent people” I say truthfully.

“Well, they would kill you and them” Dean says and stands up with his plate empty while mine is untouched.

“Don’t like the food?” he asks.

“I’m a vegetarian” I lie and push the plate further.

“Of course you are” he sighs annoyed then mutters before he leaves “well, not a virgin at least”

After he leaves I drink the glass of blood that was on the table and leave the room headed to my empty room. Loneliness hits me as soon as I sit on the bed. I suddenly feel the bile in my throat increasing causing me to run to the bathroom. As I’m throwing up the blood I drank earlier I feel someone’s hands rubbing my back.

“Why does this always happen?” the person says.
