"Tara waky waky" someone said
"Go away am trying to sleep” I grunted
"Ok fine but there is a box someone mailed to you" lily said
"Hmm...fine I wont be able to go to sleep again no thanks to you" I bit back
When I entered the living room, there was a wooden box on the table with pebbles designing it. I went and looked around to see if there was any message or letter saying from whom but there wasn't. I sat down and carefully opened the box revealing a fern and a chrysanthemum.I lived for flowers since my grandmother always told me about their mythical powers, and I have a small part of me believing them but why send a fern and a chrysanthemum.
I checked the flowers and the box and there was something engraved at the bottom inside of the box saying "cavete " what does that mean? and who sent it?
"so i see you looked through it " lily said startling me.
"god lily you scared me!"
"sorry but your the one who is so jumpy! anyway, so what's in the box?" lily asked curiously
"oh right the box... nothing big just a fern and a chrysanthemum" I said
"Don’t you, like, believe in flowers and mythical creatures and shit?"
"Yes, I do" I answered honestly
"Well don’t you find it weird that someone sent you that"
"I don’t know lily but am keeping them. Something tells me there here for a purpose"
"It’s your box I really don't care" and with that she went to her room
Should I care too?

After I came back home from college I did what I do every usual day. And then went to sleep.
