"Tumakbo ka na, sayang naman!"

Nandito kami ngayon sa isang kainan malapit sa school. It's the first day back for the new sem. I'm with Asher right now, we're eating. Pinipilit n'ya akong tumakbo for student council for next year. Ayaw ko naman dahil wala akong experience.

To add, third-year na kami next school year! Thesis writing will start and who knows, life just randomly throws shitty things at me, baka hindi ko kayanin. It's also just too much pressure.

Ewan ko, bahala na.

Kasama namin si Don at iba pa naming kaklase. Sasha is with her other newfound friends from our department kaya hindi namin s'ya kasama.

Saka may potential ka naman talaga, bakit hindi mo i-try?" he explained while reading through the flyer that the students earlier were giving out.

'Di ko kaya mag-president 'no!" I gave him a look before checking my phone for any message or what.

"Hi, people!"

"How's the first day, pharmacist?" Don asked as Sasha sits down.

"Shut it! Grabe, I never liked Science as a child and as a teen talaga. My classmates are nice but the lessons? Sasakin n'yo na lang ako," she complained and got a piece of fries.

We laughed at her reaction. That was me during my first year in college. I enjoyed it at first because I love Science with a passion, especially chemistry.

But over time, grabe mahirap talaga. I can't imagine Sasha's struggles right now because she had to catch up with the previous lessons and she doesn't have any background in any medical or scientific course.

I offered and got a sip from my cup.

"Really?" She squeaked and got another piece of fries. I nodded in response.

We were in Anatomy class when I was peacefully writing notes and Asher got bored he started passing small pieces of paper with letters and phrases to me.

I didn't bother reading them when he was so persistent in passing them. I'm guessing he already read about today's lecture because he doesn't listen to the professor from time to time.

I looked at him seriously while crumpling the last paper he passed and threw it lightly in front of me, still on top of my desk. When the bell rang, I fixed my things for the next class which was a minor subject so there was really no need to prepare much.

I was putting my notebook inside my bag when my eye caught something from the little notes of paper he was passing earlier.

The first notes he passed were all just corny pick-up lines which he was doing on purpose to make me cringe but the ones that followed after that, the ones which I crumpled... I didn't have any idea what was written on them.
