Chapter 10

Half an hour before the show starts Kiven is now buying tickets for the show. Ryuu and Dr. Mei are now walking around the street, while Kevin is alone at the ticket booth. Kevin weeps with regret for not having brought the tickets earlier. In front of Kevin, too many people are standing in line. He never imagined that the show would be so successful. He asked the girl in front of him who looked like a middle school girl.

"Hello, kid. Can you tell me why this show has so many people?" 

No response from her, "Kid...I mean Miss."

Kevin realized his way of calling her child was rude so he changed it.

It looked like the girl didn't notice his presence. It wasn't until Kevin called her Miss that she looked at him and said, "Are you talking to us? This is the first time we have been here." she looked at him with red eyes.

"Are you here alone? Did you come here with your friends? Ah... sorry for asking too much."

"No, we... I was here to search for my friend but I am alone now. It's just she didn't respond to me when I called her. She loves these weird toys so I just come here to see if she is here."

"Me too, I was left alone by my girlfriends too. I guess we are the same."

"No, I am not. Stop talking to me, you're annoying." She said to him in an irritated tone. She turned her back away and not looking at him anymore.

Kevin didn't know why she looked angry, so he didn't bother her anymore. He picks up his phone and wanted to call Mei to ask where they are. In the distance, he heard someone shouting. Upon looking at where the voice was coming from, he saw a man pulling a purse from a woman and began to run. 

"Stop! Damn, I had to catch him." Kevin run after him. In the park, where the thief runs to get his bike, a man suddenly blocks the path. 

"Don't block me. I have a knife!" The thief didn't stop running he took out his knife and start waving in front of him. The man didn't move, he quickly grabs the hand which is holding the knife and hit his chest hard. In his fury, the thief, trying to attack the man, realized that his body was unable to move, and he fell to the ground motionless. When Kevin arrived at the scene he found that the thief was lying on the ground and as he looked at the man, he realized that he was someone Kevin knew.

"Uncle Paul. Is it you? Uncle Paul Long?"

"Yes, my name is Paul Long. Do you know me? Wait, that white hair... you are Kevin right."

"Uncle Paul, did you already forget me? It has only been one year since you left the MOTH because of your injury."

"Sorry, Kevin a lot of things happen to me. Are you here to catch the thief?" Paul Long point at the thief. Kevin check the thief and found that the thief is still alive. The thief watches the two of them and wanted to say something but his mouth can't move at all.

"Is this your Kung Fu? It's still scary as ever."

"Well I just wanted to catch him peacefully but he threatening me so I just give him a lesson."

"I'm glad I'm not your enemy. I'm going to call the police. Please wait a moment, Uncle Paul.".

After five minutes later Kevin and Paul Long watch the thief taking away by the police. The woman thanked the two of them for catching the thief. When she gives them money, Kevin rejects her but Paul Long accepts her money and says thank you. 

After the woman left Kevin started to ask Paul Long, "Uncle Paul, how are you doing with your head injury? I heard that you got the injury when you were trying to save the children. Is your injury okay?"
