Chapter 4

It has been a week since Dr. Mei left the boy with Prometheus. Her boss, the MOTH Chairman, asks her about him. She gives him a report on the boy and that he has an unknown blood type and has low intelligence like a child. She asked him how he would deal with the boy.

"It is good to know that he is still doing well, and I wouldn't do anything to him, just let him stay there."

"Sir, he is still a child and he can't live in such a place where those honkai are there. He should be sent to an orphanage."

"Even though he might be a honkai?"

"No, he is still a child and a human."

The MOTH Chairman did not say anything. His gaze shifted to the window as he got up.

Dr. Mei looked at what he is looking and she saw a bright city light indicating that the city is at peace.

"The city seems more peaceful than three years ago, but who knows when the city will destroy by Herrecher again."

The man looked at her and said.

"Three years ago, do you know what happened to the people who lose their children and parents?"

"...I know."

She knows what he wanted to say so she can't talk back. She remembers that three years ago the 3rd Herrecher killed many people. Mei remembers her parents also died there. When people lose their loved ones, they lose hope; they live like a living dead. The Honkai will prevent them from finding a peaceful life again. Some people joined the MOTH organization to fight Honkai and others worked as mercenaries to live. 

"We used to make him born from the egg using those honkai crystals that you discover, we had to make a big sacrificed to get those, can you tell me how many people died and fought for you to get it."

The honkai crystal is a manifestation of honkai energy. To get it you need to catch the honkai beast alive to obtain the honkai crystal. But it was not easy to catch it. The honkai beast has shown no sign of sleeping and fatigue. Many sacrifices were made in order to catch it.

"I knew what I did, but could you get to the point now?"

Her expression remained unchanged as she stared at him. He smiled back at her.

"Good, If would be bad if we let him go away easily." Sitting back in his chair, he said.

"From now on, I want you to make sure he's taken care of and given what he wants, show that you love him, and let him open up to you." 

 As the man became more serious, he said, "And then ask if he knows how to cure honkai infections."

"Cure? But sir, how could he possibly know?"

"I don't think you should worry about it, you just need to talk to him. You will find the answer."

Dr. Mei thinks that the president might know what the boy's secret is.

"Yes, I heard that you let him teach with AI, It's an interesting thought. Why don't we let our new recruit scientists learn with AI, what do you think?"

"I don't think they liked the idea of being taught by computer."

"Even Though it's a great idea, too bad. You can go back now."

"Yes."

Dr. Mei went to the door before she touched the door knot, the man said.

"It's would be great, if you could become his mother, Dr. Mei, that would be wonderful."
