Chapter 8

Nagazora City in XXX location, the festival has started and many people coming to have fun here.  The festival seems to be showcasing Homu collections. Ryuu, Dr. Mei, and Kevin attended the festival because Kevin found out about it on the internet. After arriving here Ryuu saw a Yellow Homu is handing out balloons to children. 

"Wow. sister Mei, it's a yellow Homu. He looks so huge. What's he giving to them?" 

"It's a balloon filled with gas so it can be float. Do you want it?" asked Dr. Mei. 

"I want it, Ouch!" Kevin hit his head to stop him. "It's not okay to ask her kid, this is just a quick tour to show you around, after that you are going back to the base."

"Sister Mei, he hit me," Ryuu said crying. 

"Are you hurt, Ryuu. Kevin, Ryuu is still a child. What would you do if he had an injury on his head." Dr. Mei said angrily to Kevin. 

"Wait! I didn't hit him too hard. Hey, don't cry if you are a man kid." 

"But, it hurt." 

"Just, don't hit him again, Kevin. If you let him cry again I will ignore you and kick you out. Ryuu don't you want a balloon. I'll buy it for you so can you stop crying please?" 

"Okay." Ryuu stop crying and he saw Dr. Mei went to the yellow Homu to buy a balloon.

Kevin has been annoying this whole time. When Kevin heard about a festival, he invited Mei to the festival to went on a date with her. She was happy and said she wanted to take Ryuu with her so Kevin was disappointed. When Kevin found out she also wanted to invite Su too, he decided that he will let Su take care of Ryuu while he and Mei went on a date. However, Su is busy and cannot go with them due to his work, so he wishes them good luck. And now Kevin is babysitting to Ryuu, so he became irritated. 

Kevin sighed heavily and apologized: "Sorry for hitting you kid, I was angry for some reason. Was my fist strong?"

"No, it's was a weak punch. It's not even painful,"  replied Ryuu, who is wiping away tears. Kevin became irritated once again and tried to hit him with a strong fist. But he hides his hand immediately when he saw Mei coming back with a balloon.

"Here it is. Since I don't know what colors you prefer, I chose my favorite blue color for you. What do you think?"

"I like it. Thanks, sister Mei." Ryuu holds the balloon said happily. Dr. Mei was happy for him and she asks Kevin where to go. 

"There are two hours before the concert start. There is time for playing around. Let's visit an art exhibit. They are showing Homu collections what the stupid kid likes," he explained.

They went to an art exhibition and there were some people are standing at the gate. It seems the writer from 'Homu Adventures' is signing copies of his book for his fans. 

"Thank you, Mister K, when will the next book arrive? It's been two months since we've waited."

"Because of my personal reasons, I stopped writing my books. Thank you for reading them up until now. Please excuse me I had to go now." the man gave the book back and went out. When he went out he saw Kevin's group and he made a surprise face. He is not looking at Kevin or Dr. Mei but at Ryuu. After relaxing himself, the man went to them. Kevin notice him and block him in front of Ryuu and Mei.

"Do you need anything?" He examined him carefully, noticing he wore a coat and glasses and a short blue-haired man. Despite the fact that Kevin did not bring his gun, he will attack the man before doing anything to them.

"No, I just met a friend of mine. It's been a long time since we last met." 

"Uncle, since we're not familiar with you, will you tell us who you are?"
