I awoke, refreshed and happy. Last night had been awesome. I got up and made pancakes and berry smoothies for everyone. It was sweltering hot outside, our only relief being the air pumps spreading cold around the house. We had a brainstorm as to what we should do that day. "Stay inside and sit out the heat!" suggested Kisame. "Movies!" Hidan called out. "Beach day!!" exclaimed Tobi. We all looked at him confused. "Was that a bad idea, Konan-chan?" He questioned. I shook my head and stated "No, you just had a good idea for once." We packed our belongings and headed to the beach. The local beach had nice soft sand and clear, blue tinted water. We set up our umbrella in-between the wharf and the changing room.
I wore a white single piece with a cut out back and hips. The boys wore normal swimming shorts, however Itachi and Zetsu wore rash-tops as well. First me and Deidara ran and jumped off the wharf, making a big splash. We swam to the steps, racing each other to jump next. Tobi was up there, so Deidara pushed him off. I dove off and swam closer to shore. I pulled my googles over my eyes and dove under the waves. I watched the seaweed sway in the water. I watched as Kisame swam up behind Itachi and Pain and pulled them by their legs. I re-surfaced and started cracking up as Kisame swam away cackling, with an angry pair of serious boyos chasing him.
I grabbed one of our surfboards off shore and went out to the waves where Hidan and Orichimaru were surfing around. We tucked under and over the waves. Orichimaru kept screaming about falling off, then got got hit by a wave and fell off. Since his board had an attachment to his ankle, the waves dragged him to shore. Hidan cruised on his stomach, while I stood up and balanced on the board as it swayed in the ocean current.
Pain spiked the ball, Itachi recieved, hitting well. I countered with a crisp upward swing and got it into one of their blind spots. Itachi spiked this time, with Zetsu recieving. He hit the ball down hard, leaving me and Kisame unable to defend. The ball hit the ground with a flurry of sand. "WE WIN!!!!" cried out Deidara. Jeez, what a gloat.
I relaxed in the hot shower, the calming water washing all the salt and sand from my body. I was tired and achey, but I had fun, and that was what mattered.
