CHAPTER IV
I LOVE THE WAY YOU SMILE!
————————————————————THE WEEKEND HAD PASSED RATHER SWIFTLY, with not much to do, although... I kept seeing this cat come into my house and get stuck in the dishwasher.
It was now Monday, I'm still haunted from Friday when Scaramouche and I had an...interaction let's say...
I sat down on my chair and rested in my arms, scrolling through my phone.
It's crazy how I haven't asked him for his number yet, I should actually do that before someone else takes my spot in his contacts.
He entered the classroom and said hello to the ginger boy and came over to his desk, he waved at me and said "Hello!" while smiling.
I admired his adorable smile and said hello back to him.
He grabbed his chair and his textbook and came over to me, putting his heavy textbook on top of my head and his legs on top of mine, I could hear him chuckling as he pretended to read the textbook. I couldn't help but laugh along.
I looked to my left to see the ginger boy glaring at us, I pointed out to Scaramouche and he looked at him.
"You mean Childe? has he done something to you?" he asked.
"No no not like that!" I laugh.
"No I'm being serious, has he?" he says in a low tone.
"Not at all, why do you ask?" I question.
"No reason, but if he does something to you please tell me straight away," he says while looking at him.
"Mhm, I will," I mutter.
Lunch rolled around and I saw Mona talking to Venti, I went up to them and we spent most of lunch together.
Until someone approached me, Childe.
He came up to me and tried to start a conversation.
"You're the new girl right?" he asked.
I nodded awkwardly, not wanting to be in the situation I was in.
"You really changed Scaramouche, he barely talks to us anymore." he rolled his eyes.
Personally, I found that quite rude, and that's a great first impression of this guy.
I walked away and went over to Scaramouche to try to talk to him.
"Hm? What's wrong?" he asked sweetly.
"Nothing really, I just had a pretty rude interaction with Childe that's all," I say.
"Oh that's no good, I'll talk to him," he says while walking off.
"No no, you don't need to," I beg.
"It's really no trouble." he smiled and ran off.
I saw him go up to Childe and rest on his shoulders, grinning while looking at me.
Childe looked mad and crossed his arms.
The end of the day had come around and I was walking down the street until I heard someone call my name, I look back and see Scaramouche jogging towards me.
"Hey, I believe we live close to each other so I would just tag along with you." he panted heavily.
"That's fine with me." I smile.
As we approached our street I saw that white cat that gets stuck in my dishwasher in the middle of the road.
"Harby what are you doing outside?" Scaramouche says, leaning down to pick up the cat.
"Is that your cat?" I ask.
"Yeah, but he always sneaks out." he rolled his eyes.
"Oh wow that's funny, he always gets stuck in my dishwasher and I have to fish him out every night," I say.
"Oh, I'm so sorry that he has caused trouble," Scaramouche apologised while stroking the cat.
"It's okay! I need to go home now, I'll see you tomorrow bye!" I say as I ran to my house.
He's so sweet and cute.
