The next day couldnt come fast enough. Gabriel was excited to see the lady again. Michael took notice to his brother's impatience. Gabriel was never one to be this excitable so it was odd seeing him so excited about a lady and her kid.

"Hey Gabe, before you go, what the hell is so special about this lady? Is she pretty?" Michael asked. Gabriel smiled

"Yeah. She's really pretty. I dont know whats so special about her... she just seems nice. I told her my name is Gadreel so she wont freak out" Gabriel said

"Really? Ok i guess. Let me know how it goes. This lady sounds like real treat" Michael said. Gabriel smiked, hugged his brotger, then left. He spotted Sydney and drax sitting under a tree. Sydney has a basket and drax has a loaf of bread. Gabriel sat next to them and smiled. Drax hid behind Sydney.

"Come drax dont be shy. He wont hurt you." Sydney said. Drax peeked out a bit and handed the bread to Sydney.

"He's adorable" Gabriel said

"I'm sorry. His father scared him into thinking everyone is out to get him." Sydney said as she fixed drax's hair.

"I understand." He said. He pulled out a lollipop and handed it to drax who hesitantly took it.

"Drax why dont you go play?" Sydney said. Drax ran off to play while Gabriel and Sydney talked. Gabriel couldn't help but notice some bruises on Sydney's arms

"Hey, sorry to ask, but what are those bruises from?" He asked. Sydney covered her arms

"Its nothing. Just from working around the house." She said. Gabriel knew that wasnt the case, he wanted to help her so bad, but he knew if he did anything it would cause more problems. He spent hours talking to Sydney. Drax eventually sat down and talked as well. Before they knew it the sun was starting to set. Gabriel hated to see them go, but he didnt want them to get yelled at by her husband. He made sure they got home safely and went home. As soon as he walked through the door Michael hugged him

"Where have you been? Its been 7 hours!" He said. Gabriel hugged back

"Sorry. It took a lot longer than i thought." He said.

"You must really like this girl"

"What? Michael its been one day. Besides, she's married" Gabriel said

"So? Its not the first time I've had to break up a marriage" Michael said jokingly

"First of all it isnt that easy. It was an arranged marriage. But i think she wants out of the marriage. I think her husband hits her." Gabriel said. The smile on Michael's face was instantly replaced with a snarl.

"I can kill him if you want me to" Michael said

"No. It'll cause more issues. I'll check up on her as much as i can" Gabriel said. Michael sighed and crossed his arms

"When do you plan to see her again?"

"I dont know, but i hope she and drax will be ok"
