Michael soent the next few months non stop torturing jackson. He and gabriel both loved hearing a man like him suffer, but gabriel was more concerned with Sydney. She couldnt even look at her home without bursting into tears let alone live there. Nobody wants to live in the place they were tortured, so gabriel let her move in with him. They were once again inseparable, but this time Sydney wasnt scared. She was happy. She was truly happy. They soent most of their time under the oak tree. July 23rd was a special night, there was a firework show. From the oak tree they had a perfect veiw. The noise scared Sydney a bit so gabriel pulled her close and held her hand. She had never felt so safe with snyone before. She had met plenty of men who treated her well but there was something about gabriel that stood out to her. She didnt know what it was. Michael was just as worthy of these feelings but she was drawn to gabriel. When she was away from him she found herself waiting for him, constantly checking her phone for any messages from him. She felt safe with him. He was the one she trusted the most. In that moment, she was in his arms, he was holding her. He was protecting her. She tuned out everything around then and looked into his eyes. She brought one hand to his cheek and the other still holding his. She took a deep breath and pulled him to her. Their lips met. Neither of them could beleive it. They had been dreaming of this for decades and it was finally happening. Sydney was the one who broke the kiss. They were both red. She smiled and layed her head on his shoulder while still holding his hand.

"I've loved you for a long time. Not just as a friend, but as something more" gabriel said.

"I love you too Gabriel" she said. They night when Sydney fell asleep Gabriel immediately told Michael. They both silently celebrated as to not wake Sydney. Michael had never seen his brother so happy. He couldnt wait to watch their relationship bloom.
