Saving her

As the years pass Sydney and Gabriel spent every moment they could together. They went on trips, they read stories, but their favorite was sitting under the same oak tree they first became friends as they listened to the rain. When it was time to go they always had the look of sadness and fear in their eyes. The fear they may not see each other again, the fear nothing will be the same as it was before. They both went to bed, eager for tomorrow to arrive. They would always meet in early morning under the oak tree, they took turns bringing breakfast, then the other would buy lunch. They were inseparable. They were perfect together. Gabriel took in an orpganed angel child named paige. He and sydney would care for her as much as they could, until Sydney stopped showing up. At first he assumed she was sick or busy. Days passed and he hadn't heard a word from her. He began to worry, so he found her house and knocked on the door. The door opened almost instantly. Jackson had been waiting for him.

"So you like hanging around with my wife still? Dont you have better things to do than to assault my wife?" He said. Gabriel was shocked, what was jackson talking about?

"Excuse you? What are you-" he was cut off by jackson

"She comes home with cuts and bruises from you! I know you raped her too! She has marks in places you could only get to if you assaulted her!" He said. Gabriel was fuming now.

"Excuse me, YOU did that to her. I've been protecting her from YOU. YOU are the one who has been hurting her, I'm trying to help her" he said. Jackson shook his head and went inside. A few moments later he came back with Sydney who seemed to be in physical and mental distress.

"You did this to he-" Sydney pushed him away

"Jackson stop it!" She said. Jackson grabbed her wrist and pushed her inside out of anger. Before he could do more gabriel grabbed him and restrained him. Sydney grabbed gabriel's phine and called Michael. She barley got a word in before he was right next to her. Once he saw what was happening he took gabriel's spot in restraining jackson. Gabriel rushed over to examine Sydney, he's never seen this many wounds on her. She wouldn't let him touch her anywhere besides her hands.

"Sydney we need to get you to a doctor" Michael said while repeatedly smashing Jackson's head on the ground. She looked down a bit and nodded.

"I'm done with this. Jackson, you and i are dine" she said as she took off her ring. She dropped it in front of him before walking off with gabriel.
