You finally got to go out with the person you've been dreaming of for weeks. Months went by and you never met up, well now was your chance. You get to have some time with that one special person. You've had it planned for two weeks. You knew exactly what you wanted to wear, exactly where you wanted to go, you planned all the conversations, you know everything you want to say. You stayed up every night making up fake scenarios in your head about this date. You are so excited and nothing could change that. Well except one thing. If their parents say no. But why would they do that? I mean honestly. Now you're only three days away so you face time this very special person. And you ask if they talked to their parents yet and they say yeah. They can't make it. It's like glass shattering. Everything planned so perfectly and now for nothing. It's like it actually hurts. You feel petty, like this shouldn't be such a big deal, but it is. You were so ready, so excited. But no. That had to be taken from you too. But in your mind you say it's whatever. And you deal with it because you don't know what else to do. You face time your very special person that night you were supposed to go out. Wishing you could have seen them in person instead of through a screen. But you smile anyway because no matter how you see it, their smile is still so perfect. Their eyes still so captivating. It leaves you with a longing and when they hang up, that feeling returns even stronger how much you miss them and wished you could have seen them.
