Hypothetical Short Story 2

There is a new person in town. They don't seem to be getting along with anyone much. You take a shot and the next thing you know y'all are best friends. Y'all do absolutely everything together. They are practically like your twin and their family like a second to you. You two are always with each other and there was never need for anyone else. As you two got older you stayed best friends. They stayed with you through the triumphs and trials. But soon the innocence left the two young friends. You and them weren't as happy as you once were. Both of your lives went down hill and they went fast. All you had was the best friend bond between you two. No distance no words no person so situation no matter how hard it got could separate you from them. One day you both weren't doing well and made bad decisions. Neither families allowed you to see them. You missed your best friend. Now you had nothing and you knew they were in the exact same situation. Their phone number changed and it was like they disappeared off the face of the earth. For years you try to find them. No duck luck. And even years later you remember them. Their laughter, their look, their thrill. All the trouble you got into together, the last time you saw them, how you cried. And years later you still remember them and still cry. You know you will never forget your first true friend that you know even if you two aren't physically with each other neither of you will forget.

But of course this is all hypothetical
