You did everything you could. Said you would never love again, nit after what they did. They drove g you through the mud and trampled you. But then you met someone. Your defenses melted and they were all you could ask for. Picked you up. Gave you hope. Gave you a life. But once they were finally yours y'all grew distant. They stopped sending cute messages. You got them things for Christmas and WROTE THEM A SONG for Valentine's Day and what did they get you? What did they do for you? Nothing. Then later that day you write them a very long and well long thought out paragraph telling them that you loved them for the first time and what does he say back? They make fun of you about something that has nothing to do with the message you poured your heart into. Plus you know you won't last long because they are going to college come September. But even though you know this you want it to work . You love them. But you doubt they love you and even though you still together it feels like your not. You want to tell them, but your scared they are going to leave you. This is exactly why you weren't supposed to open your heart again. Now his leaving is inevitable but so is giving your heart out.
