Episode Two: Our Sister?

CHAPTER 2

Daniel sent his bodyguards to pick up his sons from school (which were rarely seen unless it was trouble) and gathered in the Victorian-style garden plaza for their meeting. The boys had no idea of what's going on until Daniel appeared.

"What's with the entourage?" Jinji asked.

"Is there trouble, Dad?" Shinzo spoke.

"Can we get something to eat?" Tendo said.

"Old man, did you screw up again?" Haruto questioned.

Daniel ignored their questions and explained the situation.

"One of you will inherit Sakamoto Group and its trillion-dollar assets but..."

"But what?" they replied.

He continued, "You must make Rose Bridges fall in love with you and marry her to get my wealth within three months."

"Married in three months?" Tendo said.

"Rose Bridges?" Jinji repeated curiously.

"I'm not going to marry some random chick," Haruto replied.

"Aren't there other options besides this?" Shinzo asked.

"Why did you choose, Rose, Dad?" Tendo asked.

Daniel smiled, "Rose is my only daughter."

"She's our sister!" Shinzo yelled.

"Are you crazy, Dad?" Tendo asked.

"She's your half-sister, boys. Except for Haruto and Jinji, your step-brothers are more eligible for marriage," Daniel explained.

Haruto and Jinji looked at each other, "Are you kidding me?"

"Then why do we need to be in this? When she's practically our sister," Shinzo spoke.

Daniel said, "Help Haruto and Jinji win her heart. Open her heart to romance and happiness. It was her mother's last wish and for me to be a decent father figure in her life. Starting tomorrow, she'll be living with us. So, be nice, boys."

"Tomorrow!" Tendo yelled.

"What the heck, man!" Jinji shouted.

"With a girl staying with us now, I can't walk nude around the house! What shit is this?" Haruto frowned.

"Maybe, it's for the greater good. The maids won't faint every time they see you wearing clothes for once," Shinzo added.

Daniel shook his head and cleared his throat, getting their attention.

"What is it now?" Haruto asked.

"You've all been transferred into Rose's school, Noble Arts High: NAH!" Daniel surprised them.

"What?" they all said.

"What about our friends?" Jinji asked.

"And girlfriends?" Tendo asked.

"Forget about them, what should be on your mind is how to make Rose happy to gain all my assets. Starting tomorrow, it's your first day of school with Rose. May the best step-son win her heart," Daniel smiled.

"What the heck?" Shinzo yelled.

"We don't even know who she is," Haruto stated.

"Or what she looks like," Tendo added.

"What if she's ugly?" Jinji questioned.

"I can't stand weak and stupid girls," Haruto said.

"Give us at least four days or week to think about this, Dad," Shinzo suggested.

Their father agreed to a certain extent.

"You have twenty-four hours, boys. See you tomorrow," he said.

"Twenty-four hours?" Jinji repeated.

"But Dad?" Tendo said.

"We need more time," Shinzo added.

"No, you don't, anyway I have a meeting now, bye," Daniel answered and left them baffled.

"There he goes again," Haruto said, rolling his eyes.

Ryu, their head bodyguard stated, "He left some information about your sister for you."

"Okay," they answered.

Ryu pressed the remote button. It brought down a large flat-screen monitor from the ceiling which displayed Rose's picture and profile. After doing a thorough background check and DNA test on the young girl.

"So she's the one?" Haruto smiled.

"She's Rose Bridges?" Tendo asked.

"Our sister?" Shinzo questioned.

"Your sister not ours," Jinji pointed out cheekily.

"She's kind of cute, don't think?" Haruto grinned.

"A little," Tendo shrugged not wanting to show his true thoughts, 'She's beautiful.'

"She's majoring in science, art, and music. She's half-Japanese, African-American with St. Lucian ancestry. She's eighteen years old. She loves photography. She works part-time at a maid café called Sweet Tooth's Maid Café and etc. Not to mention, she's a karate, judo black belt, and mixed martial arts expert. She even won three gold medals at the Olympics," Shinzo said.

"Hold up! She was raised by Naoto Clan's yakuza boss!" Jinji yelled.

"This girl means trouble, guys," Tendo sensed it.

"It's nothing I can't handle. I love a good fight. I don't care who my opponent is," Haruto smirked.

"Idiot, she's our sister!" Shinzo reminded.

"Like I give a damn!" Haruto yelled.

"Will you all shut up? Our first mission is to get her to fall in love with you guys to gain Dad's business, remember?" Tendo said.

"Yeah, you don't use your fist to threaten her to marry you, moron," Shinzo added.

"Shut up! Let everyone stick to their own methods to capture her heart and Dad's wealth," Haruto said.

'Without crossing the line cause she's our sister," Tendo reminded.

"But not ours," Jinji grinned wiggling his eyebrows up.

"Let's see who makes her blush on the first day," Shinzo challenged.

"It will be me, of course," Tendo boasted.

"Don't count your eggs before it hatches," Haruto said.

"You guys all suck; she'll be mine before the day ends," Jinji teased.

"Dream on, losers. She's mine," Haruto said.

Ryu sensed the competitiveness and smirked, "Relax guys, you have twenty-four hours to think of many schemes to win her heart. Good luck on that." He thought aloud, "She doesn't seem easy to please."

The brothers took his advice and headed in to make plans to pierce Rose's heart like cupid. In their regular locations around the mansions, they received a video of Rose playing the piano before doing her part-time job at the 'maid café and cake shop called St. Claire.'

She was dressed in a cute black and white French maid outfit serving teas and cakes. The guys fell in love with her at first sight. They awed, loving every minute of her cute and lovely, friendly personality to customers.
