CHAPTER 3

On the first day of school, the guys, Shinzo and Tendo were neatly dressed in their uniforms. And of course, Haruto and Jinji were ditching the uniform code to look cool; since they had a reputation to keep. The brothers become Springtime Princes' candidates recommended by the female students and their Springtime Princess, Rose was recommended by all the male students and especially the student council president, Otani. Because she was the PRO and his assistant of the Student Council body. The principal viewed the candidates everyone voted for to represent their school at Springtime Band Championship.

Principal Karen smiled, "This year will be different with these students representing us. We'll gain more popularity and more students will enroll in our school because of them. Isn't that right, Head Master Ken?"

Head Master Ken smirked, "We'll be rolling in no. 1" as he thought, 'Money!'

He began imagining himself and Karen on a vacation in Hawaii. "Karen, Hawaii, wait for me!"

"Ken! Stop with the fantasies and call these students to the office," Principal Karen said.

"Yes, Madam," Ken answered and announced on the PA system. "Rose Bridges, Haruto Sakamoto, Jinji Sakamoto, Otani Yamoto, Tendo Sakamoto, and Shinzo Sakamoto please head to the main office. These are your candidates and band members for Springtime Band Championship."

The entire school made an uproar of excitement.

Rose was shocked. "How did I end up this?"

"We voted, of course," Erica smirked; her best friend; gesturing to the rest of the class.

"You guys! I can't do this," Rose said.

"Rose, stop belittling yourself and your courage. Who stood up for Yuri when he was being bullied."

"I did," Rose smiled.

"And you gave those bullies the most painful beating I've ever seen in my life," Erica said.

Rose remembered it all like yesterday, below the bridge on the grassy plot beside the river; where Genkai students were beating up one of her classmates, Yuri.

"Hey! Stop it!" Rose yelled.

"You want to die today?" their leader, Kai asked.

"No, but you will if you don't leave my classmate alone," Rose said.

He laughed, "You weak girl! You think you can beat me?"

Rose smirked and cracked her knuckles and answered, "Only twenty seconds or less I need to put your head in a dumpster!"

She ran into the gang of seven boys and punched, kicked, and fought them dodging and blocking their attacks. She flipped, elbowed them in the stomach, kicked their chests, and punched their noses before she roundhouse-kicked their leader in the face knocking him out.

Groaning, the guys grabbed their boss.

"This girl is crazy!"

"Let's get out of here, guys!"

"This isn't over!"

"We know which school you go to we'll find you!"

"And get our revenge!"

They ran away and Yuri yelled, "Rose! You were awesome!"

Rose dusted off herself and sighed, "Yuri, why do you always associate yourself with stupid thugs?"

He frowned, "It's not my fault, and they always target me! I was always bullied from young. How did you learn to fight like that?"

"Oh, my grandfather taught me and I trained at South Punch Gym. You should train there too. So next time when those idiots show up, you'll be prepared to knock them out," Rose explained.
