Episode Seven: Second Kiss

CHAPTER 7

Daniel sat down and sighed before looking at his sons.

"What?" He asked.

"Who was it who messed up in the first place?" Haruto questioned smirkingly.

"You think I wanted everything to end up like this but it's already happened and I'm pretty much happy with this decision," Daniel replied.

"We knew you would say something like that," Tendo added.

"How far are you with Rose?" Daniel asked.

"Apparently, we'll be representing our school at Springtime Band Championship," Shinzo informed.

"Basically, we're stuck together for two weeks for band practice until the big day," Jinji grinned.

"Good! Do you guys need any help?" Daniel asked.

"No thanks, we can manage," Haruto assured.

"Okay," Daniel said sounding impressed.

"We also met her best friend, Erica. I'm the one handling her. I want to be close to her; to find out what Rose's interests are and the kind of guy she likes," Tendo mentioned.

"Alright, that's well thought out, Tendo," Daniel smiled.

"But we know the guy she likes, our student council president, Otani. Who's in the band with us and Rose," Shinzo informed.

"Otani? Student Council President?" Daniel said.

"It seems he likes her too," Jinji admitted bitterly.

"Really? How interesting. Let's change this game around," Daniel smirked.

"Huh!" Haruto exclaimed.

"We're in serious trouble, guys," Shinzo mentioned.

"What do you have in mind?" Tendo asked.

"If Rose marries Otani, you leave this place. You won't inherit a dim from me," Daniel smirked.

"What!" Shinzo and Tendo yelled.

"But Dad!" Jinji frowned.

"That's unfair!" Haruto hollered angrily.

"I'm not finished yet," Daniel smirked as they frowned while he thought, 'This strategy will get you guys to act quickly. To make Rose fall in love with you, Haruto, and Jinji. I don't trust that Otani boy around my daughter.'

"Okay then," Haruto agreed.

"What else?" Tendo questioned.

"If Rose falls for Haruto or Jinji and marries her, you'll inherit everything from me and your brothers will have positions in the family business and you won't be homeless," Daniel smiled.

"Shit!" Jinji and Tendo yelled.

"That's dirty, old man," Haruto responded.

"Play by my rules and you'll succeed," Daniel grinned.

"And if not?" Shinzo asked.

"Goodbye, boys," Daniel smirked getting up. "And good luck," he left.

"Dad is really pushing us," Tendo said.

"What do you mean?" Jinji asked.

"He wants to kick us out," Shinzo explained.

"Nah, he doesn't like the fact that Rose likes Otani and wants us to do better, idiots," Haruto explained.
