CHAPTER 5
Rose had Grandpa Naoto build a club tree house; in the forest, since the vacant property belongs to him, because he bought it from the government. It was also a hideaway, for her to escape her rivals, she fought after school on a daily basis. It was also a practice area on most occasions. Plus it had a tunnel leading her to the nearest train station so she can head home safely avoiding the threats from other delinquents' bosses and yakuza's rivals. She dialed the combination and the trunk opened like double doors as she stepped into the elevator, which almost closed when she heard Erica."
"Rose! Wait for me!" she called out.
Then she overheard and saw the guys. "And us too!" they yelled.
She pressed the button for the doors to open.
"Erica, why did you bring them along?" Rose questioned.
Erica was surprised by their presence. "Huh? I didn't, they followed me," she explained.
"We did follow you," Tendo said.
"Whoa!" Shinzo blurted out surprisingly.
"Look at it!" Haruto added in disblief.
"It's huge! This tree..." Jinji started but got cut by Otani.
"Must be ancient," he added on.
"And you manage to build a freaking treehouse," Haruto laughed.
"It's a clubhouse," Rose explained.
"And it's well camouflage," Shinzo said sounding impressed.
"No one would believe this," Tendo replied.
Suddenly, they heard dogs barking.
"Shit! It's them! Get in!" Erica said.
"Who?" they guys entered the tiny elevator.
Rose was pushed back against the wall between Haruto's arms as Erica pressed the clubhouse's top floor; as the doors closed as they went up. He stared down at her as her heart started beating loudly as it raced when she stared back at him.
'What's up with this guy? I can't break the eye contact with him,' she thought.
Haruto smirked and leaned in closer as she gulped while blushing. "I guess we're too close for comfort but you sure make me comfortable," he flirted and secretly kissed her nose.
"Eh!" Rose yelled and pushed him away. "Stay away from me you pervert!"
Haruto smirked, "I'm really not that kind, sweetheart."
Rose felt chills run through her spine, "I doubt it," she frowned.
Tendo punched him across the face. "Have respect for our sister, Haruto."
Haruto frowned, "What the heck is wrong with you? She isn't your sister alone."
Shinzo held Tendo back and Jinji held Haruto back.
Erica and Otani stood there and watched as the guys argued and then the elevator doors opened.
"We're here and I'm not your sister and you're not my brothers! We're band-mates, okay!" Rose said making herself clear as she left them walking inside the spacious modern elegant, music clubhouse.
Erica followed her, "Rose, where are you going too?"
Otant said, "Ouch, you guys have a long way to go if you want her to accept you."
He laughed heading inside and everyone followed; a bit amazed by the instruments and decor. Rose pulled out a soda from the fridge and tossed it to Erica, "Here!" and she grabbed herself one and close the fridge's door.
