CHAPTER 4

The girls in their classroom screamed, "It's Springtime Princes!"

"And Springtime Princess, Rose-sama!" the boys shouted.

Erica smiled, "Rose! How did it go?"

"Don't even say that! It's a nightmare," Rose whined and sat down in her seat beside the window behind Erica's seat.

"It wasn't bad, Rose!" Tendo interrupted.

"She found out she's our..." Jinji started.

"No, Jinji!" they covered his mouth as the guys laughed except for Haruto who blurted.

"She's these guys' half-sister," he smirked.

"And our step-sister, I don't care," Jinji added.

"I don't see her as a step-sister but girlfriend," Haruto smiled.

"Eh? Girlfriend?" Shinzo and the boys in her class echoed.

"I'm going to win your heart, Rose!" Haruto yelled.

"Stay out of this! She's mine," Jinji and Otani warned looking at each other annoyingly.

"This is all Dad's fault," Tendo sighed.

"Who cares, I like you, Rose!" Haruto smiled.

Otani frowned at Haruto's sudden confession. "What the heck? Aren't you, her brother?" He questioned.

"Step-brother, we're not related. So I can date her, right Rose!" Haruto beamed cheerfully.

"No, you can't!" Rose yelled. "I refuse to date any one of you. After Springtime Band Championship is over we're cutting ties."

"What!" Jinji blurted out.

"What about our debut under Springtime Records & Entertainment when we win?" Shinzo asked.

"That's if we win! And even if we won, I don't care!" Rose said walking out of class.

"Rose!" the guys called out.

She ran up the stairs to the roof and screamed, "Ah! Can I do this?"

She sighed and told herself, "I don't really know."

Before the guys could leave their English Professor, Kazuma arrived, "And where are you five going too?"

"Bathroom!" they lied.

Professor Kazuma laughed, "I don't think so, get in so I call the register."

"Awe, man!" Haruto whined.

"Yes, professor!" Shinzo, Tendo, Jinji, Otani, Erica, and everyone else answered.

He did the roll-call and realized Rose was absent.

"Where is Rose? Did she not come to school today?" he asked.

Erica explained, "Yes, but she's in the nurse's office, sensei," she covered for her.

"Oh? Is she sick?" he asked.

"Just have a slight headache, sensei. She'll be okay after some rest," Erica said.

"Alright, then let's start class. Open your textbooks to page 107 we'll be reading a passage and answering the questions in English," Kazuma said.

"Yes, sensei!" the students answered.

The boys (brothers) realized Erica was Rose's good friend. They admired her loyalty and close friendship with their little sister. At break time, Rose sat with Erica on the rooftop eating from their bento lunches.
