(A/n: There is one Loki spoiler past this point, so if you don't know anything about who Sylvie is, then don't read this until you watch at least up to episode four of the Disney Loki series! The spoiler isn't big or important and it's mostly Daniel rambling about Loki's feelings, but if you want to avoid anything and everything regarding the series, then don't read this... Thank you!)
(Daniel x Loki)
(Word Count: 1705)
3rd Person POV
Daniel straightened up as he tried for the fifth time to get his tie perfect around his collar. "Er... Stupid..." He was so absorbed in getting the tie perfect that he jumped in alarm at the slight tap on his shoulder.
Turning his head, he found Loki standing behind him with furrowed eyebrows. "Daniel, are you sure you want to do this? You don't have to."
"I'm okay!" Daniel quickly wiped the frown off of his face replacing it with a bright smile now that his boyfriend was by his side. "I'm really proud of you, making this TV show like this, Loki. Your new episode just came out and I want to be here, supporting you."
Loki tilted his head and pointed out, "You looked very displeased a moment ago."
Daniel looked away in embarrassment. Loki was a god, of course, he wouldn't have the same problems Daniel had. He was in a Disney series for crying out loud! One that Daniel was slightly disappointed he didn't get to join. Daniel was a big part of Loki's life. How could he not be a part of a Loki Series?
But that wasn't the problem Daniel was currently suffering through and Daniel knew it. He lifted his tie with an awkward grin, "I don't know how to tie one of these..."
"Pfft..."
"Don't laugh at me! I'm a man! I should know how to do this! It's embarrassing."
Daniel pouted, only managing to make Loki laugh harder as Loki ruffled his boyfriend's hair. "I appreciate that you're trying to look like a man for me. But perhaps you should ask for help instead of yell at me." Turning Daniel around to face him, Loki expertly began to fix Daniel's tie around his midnight blue shirt.
Daniel grumbled in embarrassment as he tried to memorize Loki's swift movements. "Thanks... You look really good too in your suit." Daniel looked away, biting his lip, "Not that you don't look good in everything."
Loki huffed, smirking slightly at Daniel's unease. "Come now, I thought you were a superhero. What are these nerves that I keep seeing when I look at you?"
Loki grabbed Daniel's hand as soon as he was finished, pulling him out of their room and to the elevator. Daniel wasn't sure exactly how to explain himself. He only knew that his last interview didn't go so well with the Daily Bugle. "I'm not good at interviews. But this one's different. This is about you and I definitely don't want to make you look bad. That's the whole reason for this show. We're trying to make people more comfortable with having you around as a hero. They need to see that you're the good guy!"
Loki waved his hands, gesturing for his easily excited boyfriend to calm down. "I promise there's nothing you could possibly do to make me look bad. Listen, I'll be with you the entire time and their attention should obviously be on me, the star of their little show. So, they should have no reason to make you uncomfortable."
Daniel's hand tightened around Loki's, gluing himself to the Asgardian's side. With a firm nod, he agreed, "Right! I'm just here for emotional support. I'm gonna be the best boyfriend I can be. You know, since they didn't let me be in your movie or anything."
