(A/N: I wrote this on Christmas but I felt like taking a break. Plus, this short takes place the day after Christmas so I thought it was only fitting that I wait.)

DANIEL'S POV

"Hm..." I hummed in confusion as I stretched out across the bed, much like a cat. I rubbed my eyes and opened them slightly, not catching sight of Loki near me. "Lo..." I sat up on my knees, looking around as I didn't see him at all.

I rubbed my face in his pillow before I actually got up and ruffled my hair. I climbed out of the bed and looked around the silent room. I wondered to myself if Loki had left me to go get breakfast for himself. But as I was walking through the room, I tripped over a pair of boots that were under the Christmas tree that was still set up in our room.

I sighed as laid my head on the floor, almost not willing to raise myself from the floor. "Daniel? Are you alright?"

I turned my head slightly, finding that it was Loki's boots I had tripped over. I grumbled an affirmative response. "I'm still just tired from that wild Christmas party last night. Let me finish sleeping... here... under the tree." I peeked an eye open and eyed him strangely. "Speaking of... why are you hiding under the tree?"

"Well," Loki's smile grew. "You haven't yet received all of your presents."

"W- what?!" I jumped up from the floor, looking away from Loki as I blushed madly. "L- Loki, what are you talking about?!"

Loki's mischievous look never left his eyes as he chuckled and said quietly, "You're so cute with that face of yours."

"Lo!" I covered my face from his sight.

But I no sooner found his hands wrapped around mine as he pulled my hands away. I still didn't want to look at him, but a kiss to my cheek was enough to make me face him once again. "You're flustered so easily, dear."

"W- Well," I stuttered as I looked away from him, "I wouldn't be so flustered if you wouldn't say such inappropriate things at this time of morning!"

Loki looked thoughtful as he wrapped his arms around me. "So might I be inappropriate with you at other times of the day?" My eyes widened as I tried to pull out of his grazing touches. But he suddenly stopped as he laughed at my reaction. "I was only joking, Daniel. I wouldn't expect so much of you after we only just got together."

I huffed as I smacked his face lightly. "You're so mean!"

"Am I?" He held out a small box and shrugged his shoulders. "Then perhaps I should just hold this for myself until you take that back. After all, it is such a pretty gift."

I made a pouting face as I looked away for a moment. But it wasn't long at all before I took my chance and looked back at him. "Fine... You're still mean though..." I wrapped my arms around him, with a small smile across my face. "But I love you anyway, Loki. You're my meanie."

"Unacceptable, little Daniel." He tapped my nose, making it scrunch up oddly. "But I suppose I'll give this to you only because I love you as well."

I stuck my tongue at him as he placed the box in my hand with a smile. I opened the box curiously and pulled it closer as I saw what was inside. "This is my... my bracelet! But... there's two?"

Loki took hold of the box and pulled out one of the bracelets. "Don't you notice the difference?"

"Um..." I looked at the bracelet he held before I replied, "Oh, this one isn't broken! You... bought me a new one?"

He shook his head as he explained, "Actually, at the time it went missing, I noticed it was broken and had sent it to Asgard to have it replicated." He gently took my hand as he lifted my sleeve and placed the rainbow bracelet around my wrist. "This one won't break so easily and will last much longer."

I awkwardly rubbed my sleeve before I rolled it down and turned to fully face Loki. I looked up at him awkwardly. "I... uh... I didn't get you anything..."

"Of course not," He replied simply, "But you've given me the best gifts ever, much more than a simple bracelet."

I nuzzled my face in his neck as I wrapped my arms tightly around his torso. "You were the best gift for this guy."

"Flattery, my dear," He let out a breathy chuckle that brushed against my cheek as he leaned closer and pecked my cheek.

I looked up at him. "Does my flattery work?"

He hummed thoughtfully. "Perhaps."

"Well," I tilted my head onto his shoulder. "Maybe I'll try this instead," I pulled him closer until our lips came into contact.
