Chapter 4

I was met with an enormous humanoid beetle.

[Beetle King, Illsania]

A red name.

I charged the bug, trying to kill it as fast as possible, I activated Blade of Shadows and went into the stance for Rotating Slash.

It suddenly disappeared and appeared next to me. I stepped my foot into the hard ground and went into Whirling Cyclone.

I hit it right in the wings. But it didn't do anything. "What the-". I was hit in the gut by its arm. I was launched right to the end of the room, "huek!" I grunted as I hit the wall.

I looked down on my hand, it was stained red with my own blood. It walked up slowly to me. I put away my scythe and engaged it in hand to hand, I knew that the blade of the scythe is not going to break the skin.

I punched it right in the face, I felt something crack inside of the bug, but it stood there, seemingly unaffected.

I blocked it's next swing into my chest with my other arm, it felt like getting hit by a full-speed bullet train, but I stood my ground.

I barraged it with a machine gun of punches, I felt something crack in my hand, but I didn't pay it any attention.

Then, it grabbed my arm.

"Fuck!" I cursed, I couldn't let go, I was hit like a punching bag, blood coming out of my mouth every time I was hit.

"I haven't lost yet!" I shouted, taking out the scythe from the inventory, kicking my legs upwards and stuffed the stem into the mouth of the Beetle King.

"Fucking die you Beetle Creep!"

I pushed it in deeper and deeper, until the monster stood still. I pulled it out and hacked it with the blade with all my remaining strength.

"Bloody hell."

I pulled out the blade from its head.
