Pretty little Doll

As the four started moving back over to AJ and getting out, they all began to munch down on the foods Prim brought and the ones Caleb and Kim bought from the gift shop.

<<POV Caleb>>

For the past 2 hours or so I've kept a close eye on Ethan. His movements have been suttle, flirting with the girls who walk by, playing football with some guys who look like their from our school, but most noticeably, he's been walking ever so slightly closer to our table with Hazel at his side.

"Prim, did you buy any tarts like I asked earlier?" Kimberly asked, rummaging around it the food bag Prim had brought. "Oh no, I'm so sorry girly. I'll go get them right now" She started walking away before anyone else could respond, "Prim! I'll go with you!" Keith exclaimed, hearts bulging out from his eye sockets, "Yeah right dunce, you'll lose her" Kim laughed, picking up Prims highly praised homemade brownies, "I'll go with her" and just as fast as Prim took off, so did Kimberly, leaving the guys to their own thing.

We all glanced from one to each other in silence. Usually the girls kept it lively, not that I hated them, I just found it easier to speak with Prim around, and I feel like they felt the same way. "So, gentlemen, Prim and Kimberly huh" Keith raised his eyebrows with a teasing smirk, "What feature about them caught your attention" "Easy, her laid back personality" AJ said, not taking his eyes off the food bag as it was his turn to dig around for a bit, "Okay okay, I see you AJ. You're all about that friends to lovers type deal" He winked at him, slightly nodding, "as for you mister Caleb" "Also easy, Prim is sweet and caring, easy going and loves to help others, always putting them before herself" I smiled to myself, just the thought of Prim sent butterflies rushing to my stomach,
"I see, you're an opposites attract kinda guy, I like it" "What attracts you to a girl?" AJ asked silently, picking up an apple, "Simple, her ches-" "Hey there boys" Thankfully, a voice cut Keith off and we all shot our heads in the direction it came from, "Ethan" I hissed under my breath, "Hazel" AJ followed, louder than mine.

Ethan and Hazel approached us. He had a big cocky grin plastered on his face while Hazel stood silent and unimpressed. "So, did she ditch you as well?" Ethan chuckled, looking at me, "sad thing is, you didn't have to see your date run off with some other guy" "Knock it off Ethan, we didn't want to talk to you today" AJ butted in, standing between me and him. "Aww, look at this Hazel. Your ex is finally standing up for himself" Hazel remaind quiet and rolled her eyes, "Too bad you were only being used AJ, must sting doesn't it, you really fell head over heels for her" Ethan shrugged innocently, "At least I was the one who left and not her, unlike someone I know who went on a date with Prim last night" AJ mocked Ethan and shrugged innocently.

"OH BURNED! POP OFF AJ!" Keith shouted from behind the bench obviously giving Aj more of the confidence he needed. "Quiet pipsqueak!" Ethan shouted and Keith shut up. "Speaking of Prim, where's the girls?" Hazel finally spoke up.
"Right here pal" Kimberly said softly from behind them, swiftly dragging her leg up and between Ethan's legs, hitting dead on his "where the sun don't shine" and Ethan went tumbling down onto the ground. "Hey princess, long time no see," she paused and cracked her knuckles, " You just couldn't resist me, huh? Came back for round 2?" Prim ducked behind Kimberly as she was getting ready to beat Hazel up again, "You're on you're own Ethan!"

<<POV kimberly>>

"Quit crying and fight me like a real man" I started instigating at the obviously defeated Ethan, "A man wouldn't go for cheap hits like that" he mumbled back, agony dared to creep into his tone, "yeah well, news flash, neither of us are men, so I don't need to fight like one" I shrugged, rolling her eyes and smirked.
" Are y-you trying to hurt my p-pride? Cause its gonna take m-more than that" He grumbled, managing to get onto his knees.
"Look at that, playboy is actually talking back, that's funny," I paused, squatting down in front of him with Prim behind me, "Maybe I should've kicked you a bit harder, or Prim should've left sooner" I scoffed at him, getting back up to meet the boys gaze.

They all had this devastated look flash vibrantly in their eyes like they saw a ghost. "You good?" All three of them nodded slowly, glancing from me to the boy who was still recovering from my solid kick right to his ''where the sun don't shine'' as my mom puts it. "Oh come on, it wasn't that bad. I'd do the same to any of you if you ever hurt Prim" I crossed my arms, glaring over to Caleb who was already looking back at me, gulping silently. I sighed, "I'm... Kind of kidding" I said before putting an arm around Prims shoulders and dragging her over to the table with the goodies we bought. "All- I wanted... Was to speak with Prim" Ethan finally stood up, but his legs were wobbling a bit. We all shot him death glares and huddled closer to Prim. "Yeah right. I assumed you were stupid but not this stupid" I laughed in his face, "no no Kim. I need to have a word with him as well" Prim raised her hand to my mouth. Her tone was firm and serious and her gaze had no space for mercy on this kid. "Prim, are you crazy?" Keith said, "You heard the pretty little doll, she needs to have a word with me as well" He gave me a half hearted grin. "Then go ahead and say it" Caleb butted in, placing a gentle hand on Prims shoulder.

"No, not here" She interrupted, looking up at Caleb with a whole different expression on her face.
"Its okay Caleb. I know what I'm doing" She nodded and gave him a kind hearted smile which he replicated back at her, "5 minutes" I finally got the chance to say. Prim nodded to everyone else before walking off, keeping a respectful distance from Ethan. I turned around to see AJ and Keith on the opposite side of the table from Caleb and I, staring at me. "Its rude to stare" "S-sorry bestie, its just, I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE THAT CRAZY!" Keith started jumping around, hyping me up, "I KNOW RIGHT?! I was just so mad at him I did what any good friend would do" I smiled, letting his praise sink in just a little bit, I wasn't being overly cocky but confident.

I glanced over to AJ who was just simply smiling and slowly shaking his head with amusement plastered all over his face, "That's my girl" He mouthed at me. I rolled my eyes and we finally sat down and began eating when Prim came back with a confused look, as though she was lost in her thoughts. "Someones not too happy" AJ mentioned, making us all look at her as she sat between Caleb and I.  "Was it that noticeable?" "Could notice it from a mile away"
AJ added with a slight chuckle, making Prim chuckle with him. "Yeah, what happened" Caleb added. "Yes honey spill it already" Keith leaned in, ready for whatever she was about to say.

"Well um... He gave me this" She pressed a ripped piece of paper onto the table with a name, an address and a phone number, but it looked a little too familiar. "So, whats this for?"
"I'm going to see Madelyn Bow" Her eyes were steady and voice was firm.
I nearly flinched at that name,
"Are you crazy?! She tried to kidnap you! She's the whole reason your mom and dad are having issues at home" I tried my best to whisper in her ear. Prim just simply nodded,
"I'll be ready for her this time"
"No you won't. If you're going, I'm going too" I met her gaze with an almost worried look. "Hey hey, don't leave me out of the fun ladies, I wanna go too!" Keith said, "you don't even know who we're talking about" I playfully rolled my eyes to look at him. His misty grey eyes and black skin gleamed in the sunlight above us.
"So what? Whats fun is fun" He shrugged, "Fine, I'm going too" Caleb and AJ said at the same time.

"Very well. Meet me at this address tomorrow at noon, sharpe." Prim pointed to the address as she snatched the brownie AJ was eating and stuffed it in her mouth. "Yes ma'am!" I shouted also grabbing a brownie and shoving it into my mouth, the boys following along.

Tomorrow at noon, things will change for us. Either for the better or for the worse...
