A few days have past since the night Kimberly demanded space between her and AJ. Since then AJ has also been forced to avoid Kimberly... Until the new semester finally came around

It was an early Monday morning, walking into school with Caleb and Prim. She said Kimberly went ahead of them before Caleb quickly changed the subject with a small glare at me. Once we finally got there I began making my way to class. I didn't have a single class with Hazel which kinda sucked...

I approached the classroom door to the sound of kids bursting into laughter. I stepped in quietly, not wanting the spotlight on me to see a bunch of people surrounding Kimberly as she sat on top of her desk telling a funny story.

I couldn't help but stop and stare at the way her eyes fluttered shut and a big smile growing on her peachy pink lips as other students circled her laughing along.

Suddenly she opened her eyes, looking around at all the smiles with gleams in her eyes, but then her eyes noticed my presence at the door, Kimberly's expression changed in only a matter of seconds. She was angry, sad and scared all at once with flashes of those emotions running wild in her eyes.

" .... .... looks like class is about to start and ya girl didn't do her homework, haha..!! "
Kim faked a laugh to move away from the swarm of kids surrounding her.

" Pffft, classic Kimberly "
" I can give you the answers!! "
" Haha same!! *finger guns* "

The class began to laugh again as kimberly left the circle and sat in her usual spot in the very back.

She didn't move spots..?

I thought to myself, walking over to my usual spot next to hers, pulling out the homework packet from my bag.

I glanced up to Kim to give her my packet so she could copy off me like what we always do, but to my surprise she already had her math packet out and filled with the correct answers...

I sat in awe she did it... Without my help...

But... She didn't use my packet... She did it... All on her own..

" What are you looking at? "
A hissy tone coming from Kimberly shot me out of my thoughts and back to reality.

" Ah! I- s-sorry... I did- "

" Tch. Whatever, I cant control where you look... "
She rolled her eyes, looking in the opposite direction from me.

Kimberly pressed her elbow against the desk, resting her chin on her palm as she looked out the long window that trail the wall beside her.

" So... How- "

" Kimberly!!! AJ!!! "
A loud excited squeal came from the class door.

Everyone glanced over to see Prim and Caleb standing in the doorway. Prim running at us with gleams in her eyes.

" Prim!! "
Kim stood up from her chair, running over to Prim with her arms open wide, embracing Prim and holding her tightly.

" I missed you girl!! How are you!!? "
The two stood there for a bit talking back and forth as people began to loom away,

" Ugh, girl I got TEAAA!! "
Prim said rolling her eyes pulling out her phone and showing Kimberly.

" AJ "
Caleb said coming up beside me, looking at Prim and Kim.

I glanced up nodding to him. I didn't want to exchange words and I knew my voice was the last thing he wanted to hear while his sister was finally looking better.
