Mini update

So, I was originally gonna post a heart warming chapter and all that, cuz ya know, its been to depressing lately...

So, I was maybe half way through writing a chapter (700+ words) THIS CHAPTER WAS GONNA BE LONG!! And fun fact... It didn't save.... None of it... 0% of the chapter... So I apologize if it seems like I'm slacking off, I'm just rewriting an entire chapter while also working on another book.

So enjoy this one for now

" Ethan!! "
I shouted with joy, jumping into his warm arms letting him wrap them around me.

" Prim!! I was worried sick!! Don't ever leave me for so long!! "
He whispered, gently pressing a palm against my cheek.

I nuzzled into his hand making Ethan blush a bit before chuckling to himself.

" Your beautiful Prim... "
He smiled down at me with such a calm and collected gaze it almost seemed like it wasn't Ethan.

Then in the blink of an eye, he vanished. His hand was gone, his smile was gone, Ethan was gone. I panicked looking around and calling out his name, until I saw someone in the far distance,

" ETHAN!! "
I shouted, tears streaming down my cheeks but I didn't know why.

I ran after him, trying to catch up, reaching my hand out to grab his shirt, but he just kept walking towards a bright light while I was being dragged back into the dark.

" ETHAN!! "
I shouted one final time before he staggered off into the light, becoming one with it.

Once I couldn't see him anymore, I gave in and let myself get dragged back into the dreaded dark and unknown. I dropped my arms and closed my eyes, accepting whatever was on the other side and chose not to fight it.

" PRIM!! COME ON PRIM GET UP!! "
There was a muffled voice crying my name, almost begging for me to listen.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw a light brighter than anything I've ever seen above me... Caleb.

He was holding my hands while crying for some reason. I tried to sit up but something was holding me down. His eyes were red and swollen.

" Caleb, I'm fine!! I'm right here "
I said, trying to move, but he didn't hear me.

Soon my voice became fuzzy and muffled as well until there was nothing coming out...

" GAHHH!!! "
I screamed in tears, springing up from my bed. My hands were shaking and my mind was blank. My heart was racing while my legs felt numb.

" Prim!! Whats wrong?! "
My dad shouted, bursting through my door to see me crying in the dark. He sighed before coming to sit down next to me.

" Another nightmare..? "
Liam mumbled, playing with the end of his shirt. I nodded my head with a small sniffle as those tears continued to rain down my cheeks.

" I knew I shouldn't have let you gone that day... I just knew something was up with you... "
He grumbled, brushing a hand through his hair.

" How many people have you shot before her..? "
I asked in a serious tone, catching him off guard.

"... ... I'm not... Sure... "
He hesitated to answer. I nearly flinched to that response. How could he not know?!

" I didn't want you to find out like this... I didn't want you to find out at all actually... I left that life behi- "

" Please... Leave my room "
I said, laying back down and covering myself in the blankets. He sat silently, not even a sigh, before standing up and quietly leaving my room like I asked.

" I want Ethan... "
I whispered to myself, dozing back off into dream world.

This time, I dreamt about more fun and happy things, while Ethan was one of them, Caleb was also there, which made me happy to see him again.
