Happy Halloween🎃

Hello my lovelies!! Because its Halloween and we all love the spooky season, I've decided to make a special short chapter for you all to enjoy~

" Caleb!! You almost ready? "
Kimberly called my name from the opposite side of my door.

I sighed in annoyance and rolled my eyes, rubbing my temples.

" I said I don't wanna go! If Ethan is inviting me of anyone to a party, its obviously a trap!! "
I said turing on my tv to see the Nightmare before Christmas start to play.

" Oh come on!! AJ said he's going!! And AJ doesn't like parties!! "
Kimberly tried to reason with me.

" I said- "

" Oh I just got a text from Prim... It said shes coming too!! The whole squads gonna be there and your gonna chicken out?! "
Kimberly said with a small teasing chuckle.

" Ugh fine... I'll come!! "
I finally gave in, hopping off my bed and opening my door to see Kimberly in a clown costume.

" WAHHHH!!! "
I screamed like a baby, falling backwards onto my butt.

" Haha!! It never get old "
Kimberly laughed as she patted her shoulder like she accomplished some sort of goal.

" anyways... You can wear this! "
She said tossing a bunch of what I was assuming were the pieces for the costume.

I looked at the... Thing on my arms then up to Kim with an unpleasant look on my face.

" What is it..? "

She giggled under her breath as a mischievous smirk grew along her lips, but quickly disappeared.

" Oh... Its the costume of Jack from The Nightmare Before Christmas. You love that movie, don't you? "

I shrugged turning my back to her and tossing all of it onto my bed.
" I guess... "

" Great!! Hurry up and put it on!! "
Kimberly said excitedly then slammed my door shut.

<< Time skip >>

I rushed down stairs with my costume on, meeting Kimberly and my mom at the door.

" Its about time!! "
Kim said with annoyance in her tone as she rolled her eyes.

" I don't really wanna go anyways.. I'm just going so- "

" For prim?~ "
Kim snickered as mom glanced to me with a smile on her face.

" COME ON CALEB STOP BEING A BIG BABY AND PULL UP YOUR DIAPER AND GET TO THAT PARTY UR GIRL IS THERE YOU NEED TO SAVE HER!!! "

My mom shouted making both kim and I jump in shock.

" Uh- yeah.. Do what she said..! "
Kimberly finalized grabbing my hand and rushing out the door.

" What was that?! "
Max said rushing down the stairs to see abbey squealing to herself at the front door, jumping up and down like a little girl in love.

He smiled to himself as a small chuckle escaped his lips.

" What's going on my Mrs perfect?~ "
He said with a smooth and lovely tone in his voice.

" Our boy is growing up so fast!! "

The moment we got there Kimberly instantly spotted AJ out from the crowd.

He was sitting on a two seater couch dressed as a Hogwarts student from Harry Potter.

" AJ!! "
Kimberly said while running up to AJ.

As soon as he noticed her a wide and gentle smile spread from one cheek to another cheek. Kim sat down next to him and they immediately started chatting away.

" Hey... Is prim here yet? "
I asked AJ when I finally made my way over to them.

The lights were flashing non-stop and there was music I'd never heard of blaring.

" Oh yeah! She went over to the drink table... With Ethan. "

My heart dropped as that name left his mouth. I clenched my fists into hard balls of nevers and stormed off to find them.

" Alright people!! "
The obviously low paid DJ shouted into his auditioned microphone,

" Its 9 o'clock, and you all know what that means!! Slow dance time!!~ "
He shouted once again as he changed the song to a slower one.

Everyone dancing quickly found a partner and brought them to the decently large dance floor.

I scanned the room for Prim only to see, not prim but...

Is that... AJ and Kim..? Dancing?
I mentally smirked to myself as I watched the two gaze into each others eyes, not breaking the contact.

" Caleb..? "
Someone said from behind me as they calmly tapped my shoulder.

" Wah- Oh- uh... H-hi..? Haaa... S-sorry do I know you..? "
I stuttered out as I spun around, standing there shaking of nervousness.

" Caleb!! Its me!! Prim Bow. "
She said playfully nudging my shoulder.

She paused for a second and looked me up and down then smiled.

" And who might you be dressed up as? "
She asked as a faint smirk took over that smile. Not evil but a playful one.

" Ah- W-well... I'm Jack Skellington... Like from the Nightmare Before Christmas..! "
I stuttered out trying to see her costume through the flashy, headache causing strobe lights.

" And you? "

" Why, I'm Sally!! From the Nightmare Before Christmas!! "

No way!!-

" OUUU!! Ladies and gentlemen, what have we here?!~ "
The DJ announced as a bright light shunt onto Prim and I, almost blinding us.

" Do my eyes device me? Am I seeing Jack Skellington and his love interest Sally from the nightmare Before Christmas?!~ how romantic!! "
He said, dramatically putting a hand over his forehead and leaning back smiling.

The crowd "awed" us and soon it went silent, but everyone was still watching...

I started to get overwhelmed, stressed, nervous, worked up-

" May I have this dance good sir?~ "
Prim joking asked, doing a bow holding her hand out to grab mine.

" Of course my dear lady~ "
I said smirking.

After that we danced the night away. I wasn't sure where Ethan went, but as long as I had prim I was okay, I felt safe and calm....

" We're Childhood best friends!! "

She said.... But, deep down, maybe, just maybe... I have a chance.

So I wanted this to be done and out on halloween, but some last minute stuff with friends came up, and I was out...
