Season 3, Episode 1
The Birthday

Estella and Klaus went towards the hundredth house where the werewolf, Ray Sutton, could be.

That's what they were doing every day. A woman came out looking for her dog. She turned around to be met with the two originals.

"I am so sorry. I didn't mean to scare you." Klaus apologized in an American accent. Estella internally rolled her eyes. It wasn't very convincing.

"Can I help you?" She asked.

"Yeah, my, uh." Before Klaus finished Estella forcefully stepped on his foot to shut him up.

"Our car ran out of gas. This is the first house we came to. I was hoping we could use your phone." Estella said in a perfect American accent. The woman looked at the two warily.

"Don't you two have a cellphone?" She asked.

"Well, I do. It died. He forgot his at home." Estella said, pointing at Klaus.

"Look, I promise I'm not a serial killer. I just wanna use your phone." Klaus told her. The woman sighed.

"Sure." She said shaking her head.

"So... we can come in?" He asked. The hybrids walked a bit closer.

"No. I'll get the phone and I'll bring it out to you." She told the two, stopping them from moving further. Estella rolled her eyes, completely going out of character.

"I thought you country folk were supposed to be more trusting." Klaus used his normal accent.

"I'm from Florida." She told him.

"Well, that explains it." He sped up to her and choked her.

"Now show us a little southern hospitality, sweet pea." He compelled.

"Hey! I was supposed to compel her!" Estella whined.

"Well, you took my talking part so I took your compelling part," Klaus said in a matter-of-fact tone. Estella crossed her arms below her chest and huffed. The woman led them to the house and told them to come in. Another woman started talking to her, but when she looked towards her, she saw the two hybrids.

"What's going on?" She asked her friend.

"Please don't be alarmed. I'm told Ray Sutton lives here." He told her.

"He's almost never here. He's on the road mostly." She told him, her heart beating faster.

"But I expect he makes it home once a month." He moved closer towards the woman, holding the other by the neck.

"That's what I thought. Where is he now?" He asked, looking at the two women's faces.

"This is getting boring. Tell us where Ray is and we'll leave you and your friend alone. Or if you'd like, we could kill the both of you." Estella threatened, wanting to leave. The woman looked at the two, before running towards another door, leaving her friend. She opened it, only to see Stefan Salvatore waiting for her to try to escape.

"I love it when they run," Klaus said, pulling the other woman towards the door. Estella stood next to him, looking at Stefan's eyes. His eyes always showed his feelings. She noticed guilt, hesitation, sadness, and anger. All negative emotions. He looked at her, and she lightly smiled. His eyes became calmer, though he still had to get the job done.
