Season 3, Episode 9
Homecoming

"You've got Klaus to come here. But Estella will never agree to kill him. She already went through that pain once and she wouldn't go through it again." Rebekah sat on the couch where the Salvatores and Elena discussed their plan to kill Klaus.

"Mikael will do a double kill." Damon shrugged. He didn't want Estella to die, but if it meant getting rid of Klaus and saving Stefan and Elena's lives, then he would gladly let Mikael kill her.

"He only has one stake. That I am sure of. And if Klaus dies, so does the stake. It'll burn with his body and the ashes will be gone." Rebekah argued. She was glad Mikael only had one stake because she couldn't bear losing Estella.

Damon huffed in annoyance. Their plan was perfect, yet one Original Hybrid was ruining it. There was no way he was going to let this plan fail.

Elena sighed as well. She definitely didn't agree with Damon about killing the both of them. She liked Estella a lot, and she had given her advice and taken care of her like a big sister would. Even though they had their issues, she wouldn't want her to die.

Stefan's head was jumbled. He didn't know what he wanted. With his humanity off, his emotions for Estella were in the back of his mind. With the thought of her dying, they resurfaced and wouldn't go away. He didn't want her to die. Of course, he didn't want her to die, he was in love with her. He would never admit that though. The lovesick fool was in denial.

Damon smirked as a thought came into his mind. It was risky, but it would most definitely work. He saw the way Estella looked at his brother. She was obvious to him, but her love was hidden from others. Except for the fact that Damon could tell when someone was hiding their feelings. He was an expert at it since he fell in love with his brother's girl.

"I have an idea." Damon sang.

"Well, this will surely be good." Stefan rolled his eyes and clapped, pretending to be eager to listen. Damon ignored him and continued with his plan.

"Stefan will distract Stella at the dance. Klaus will be too busy with blondie to look for her, and Rebekah will keep him occupied when he isn't." Damon smiled and the group stared in shock at his first good and not impulsive plan.

"The problem is, Estella hates no humanity Stefan. She'll keep away from me." Stefan grabbed a bottle of alcohol, poured it into his cup, and sat on the opposite side of Rebekah.

"Then you'll force her to stay with you. Got it? Great!" Damon clapped once before leaving the room. Elena sighed, taking out the dagger from inside Mikael and following behind.

Stefan and Rebekah stayed in the room, unable to stop their minds from overthinking, specifically about Estella.

Rebekah knew Estella was smart. She would most likely figure the plan out without any help from anyone. She also knew that Estella knew about Klaus killing her mother, but she didn't understand why she didn't tell her. Rebekah wouldn't have cared as much if she knew the reason and that Estella agreed she should be dead.

Stefan, on the other hand, was having completely different thoughts about Estella. He couldn't get her out of his mind, and it was driving him insane. Now, he had to take her to Homecoming as his date and stay with her for the duration of the party, which was going to last a long time. High schoolers love a good party.

Stefan walked into the Mystic Grill after he saw Estella, needing to talk to her. He didn't want to ask her to the dance, but it was the only way she would be distracted.

"Hey, Stel." Stefan smiled at the girl and she rolled her eyes, groaning.

"Can't an Original Hybrid have a little peace without someone ruining it?" She motioned for a waiter and quickly asked for a drink, knowing she would need it.
