As I Lay Dying

Estella woke up in the middle of the woods, butt naked.

The last thing she remembered was when she dug her fangs into Elena's neck. She got up and started walking. She didn't know where she was going, but it was better than staying in the woods. As she walked, little details of last night came into her mind. All of a sudden, she stopped in her tracks. Her mind played the events of last night till this morning. Bonnie, Elijah, her wolfing out, her trying to bite Elijah, then her running away. She remembered killing a couple of campers, but everything was a blur. All she knew was that she had been a wolf for a while.

"You've been busy." She heard Elijah say, not very far. She sped towards where she heard it, not caring that she was naked. She sped towards him and grabbed him by the neck, choking him.

"Where is he!? Where is Nik!?" She demanded. She needed to know he was alive.

"Right here, sister." She heard. She turned around to see him fully naked. Before she could run to him, Elijah gave her a long sundress.

"You know I hate sundresses." Estella reminded him. He smiled, still holding it out.

"I know. But you look beautiful in them, sister." Elijah smiled wider. Estella huffed, holding back her smile and reluctantly taking it, putting it on quickly. When she finished, Klaus had put on his clothes too. She ran up to him and hugged him tightly. As she let go, she smiled brightly.

"How long has it been?" Klaus asked Elijah.

"Almost two days. Full moon came and went. You remained a wolf." He told him.

"What about you?" Klaus asked Estella.

"I'm not sure how long it's been since I've been human. I think I passed out due to exhaustion. It felt incredible though." She told him.

"Indeed it did." Klaus smiled brightly.

"That means we can change at will," Estella told her twin.

"Good to know." He replied, smirking.

"I remember every single kill," Klaus told the two.

"Yes, I've been cleaning up your little mess along the way," Elijah told him.

"Just like old times, brother," Klaus smirked.

"I don't think I killed at all. Maybe a couple of campers. Everything was blurred together." Estella told them, frowning slightly.

"You've had your fun. I believe we have a bargain." Elijah told Klaus, walking closer to him.

"That's right. Now, what was it again?" Klaus asked.

"What bargain?" Estella asked.

"Niklaus gave me his word to reunite me with our family if I let him live. I let him live, it's his turn to pay up." Elijah told her.

"Oh, yes. I remember. That's it." He replied.

"You gave me your word, Niklaus." Elijah reminded him.
