"Aubrey you seriously need to stop smiling like an idiot before I bitch slap you"

"I'm not smiling" I replied giving Abby a confused look, she rolled her eyes, "I won't bitch slap you if you tell me why" she offered ignoring my earlier response

"Oh, Drew and I are official. Since you're the gossip queen I thought you knew" I shrugged taking a forkful of my salad.

"No way!" they all exclaimed, they even managed to do it at the same time.

"Way" I answered lazily, they all fell silent and obviously, what else should I take it but the negative way?

I spoke nervously "Ok guys, I'm really nervous about this but what do you think about it?" I asked them, Mike and Jason spoke first, "Drew cares a lot about her team how much more for her girlfriend?" Mike said looking at me

"I agree, also she makes you happy, what else should we ask for?" Jason continued making me smile, "But if she hurts you we will beat her into a pulp" Mike added

"You seriously think we could do that?" Jason questioned him

"Ok, we'll pay someone who can do it" Mike joked.

"Aubrey, Drew is a remarkable girl. If I don't have a boyfriend I would go for her" Natasha remarked with the most serious look, only she could pull.

"Hey!" Mike protested with a pout

"I said if I don't have a boyfriend" Natasha repeated while frowning at Mike

"Abby?" I asked her wondering why she's eerily silent, I would've expected her to have the first comment.

"She's rich, that's everything you need" Abby quipped with a cheeky smile, "Abby!" I scolded her with the tone that says 'be serious'

"Fine, as much as I hate to admit it Drew is pretty cool and no one's ever made you smile like how you do when you're with her and I agree with Mike and Jason, she makes you happy and your happiness is what matters" Abby said wiping the bottom of her eyes as if to wipe her non present tears.

"Here we go again with Abby's dramatic shit" Nikki mumbled while rolling her eyes, Abby glared at her and slapped her arm. I stared nervously at Nikki, I have a bad feeling, after all Nikki hated Drew's gut from the very first time they met I wonder what she'll say.

"Nik?" I asked her anxiously while I fiddled with my thumbs, she just stared at me which caused me to gulp. "Please" I begged, she sighed, "Drew's gay and I don't think you are-" she started but Abby cut her off, "oh my god Nikki, I didn't know you're homophobic" Abby shouted making Nikki frown.

"Shut up will you?" Nikki growled at Abby

"I believe that gay people are the sweetest, kindest, most artistic, warmest and most thoughtful people in the world. And since the beginning of time all they've ever been is kicked and I don't want to be another person who does that, I respect the whole LGBTQ community and ever since I met Drew that respect became stronger and I can see how happy the both of you when you're together so I really hope that none of you gets hurt. Aubrey, you're my best friend and I've seen you get hurt over the past years because of guys and I'm not judging you or anything and I'm not taking sides here and I really hope I'm wrong but do not use her" Nikki said staring at me with the most serious expression I've ever seen her use before.

"I understand your doubt Nikki, Eve asked me the same thing but I am not dating Drew because I see her as a male substitute, that's wrong. I've never been sure in my whole life, I love Drew and it's not because she looks and acts like a guy. It's because of the whole Drew, it's because Drew is a kind hearted person, she does good without any selfishness, she helps others without a second thought and does not do it just to get praised by others. Drew might not look like it but she's really nice and she cares an awful lot for those around her and what I love about her the most is she's the most honest person I've ever met even though sometimes it's out of control" I replied matching the same seriousness Nikki gave me, she smiled and nodded at me.
