Chapter 33!

"Morning Alyssa!" Ole greeted as I walked into the gym.

"Morning boss." I said walking over to him. It is 12 pm and I have just walked into the gym at Aon Training complex to wait for Bruno Fernandes so we can complete his medical checks before he begins training with the team.

"How are you this morning?" He asks passing over a file that I will need to fill in. It has all of Bruno's medical history on there and things I will need to fill in with the results from all these checks today.

"I'm really good. I'm excited to see Bruno again it's been 6 months since we last saw each other. How's you?" I ask opening the file and taking out the pen that was already inside.

"I'm fine thank you. I keep forgetting you and Bruno know each other. You never mentioned it before I told you about how he had signed the contract." He says taking a seat.

"Yea I met him in Portugal when I went there with Cris in June. I told him I had seen his skills because we had heard about his possible move from Sporting Lisbon to Manchester United. We then exchanged numbers and said we would keep in touch. We did well at first, we stopped talking as much around November December with us both being busy with football and then I messaged him when you told me and we've been talking every day since."

"Aww, that's very sweet. At least he won't be alone when he comes here. I know what it's like joining a new club. The fear of not fitting in with everyone else but at least he has someone to talk to."

"Yea I fully understand what you mean. Coming here as a physio I was afraid the lads wouldn't like me."

He nodded showing his understanding. "Oh how is Cristiano by way?"

"He's good. Footballs going well and all the kids are fine so he's happy. He's also with me. Why wouldn't you be happy with me." We both burst out laughing. "Nahh I'm joking." I said pulling out my phone to check the time.

"I mean you are pretty amazing so it's not false." He says.

"Aww thanks. But yea everything good however I don't know when we next see each other. I know I'm gonna miss his birthday. It's his 35th next week and neither of us having any plans of meeting although we both want to. We are busy."

"Do you guys have any plans to meet up for your birthday? Cause I know that's the end of next month."

"Not yet."

"I was just thinking if you did you could do something that celebrates both your birthdays at the same time."

"That's most likely what we will do. I hope we get to see each other on mine this year. We didn't last year but we saw each other on his cause I was in Portugal after Georgia left."

"Oh ok." As the words left his mouth both of our attention snapped in the direction of the door. Bruno Fernandes has just entered the gym.

"Hello!" He says showing us that gorgeous smile.

"Hi, how are you?" I say bringing him into a hug.

"I'm good thank you, how are you?"

"I'm very good. So let's get started shall we." He just nodded. "Ok well we will start with the basics like blood pressure, heart beat, that kind of stuff then we will stick some wires on your chest, attaching you to a heart monitor and then we will get you to run in the treadmill for about 5 minutes. Sound good?"

"Yes!"

"Ok well then let's do this!" I say clapping my hands together and getting started.

After a while or tests and checks, we are finally finished with Bruno's medical assessment and he passed everything with flying colours. I write the last few notes down in the file then put my pen down.
