Part 4

IN the present. 

"mikey wasn't the same after draken died. Then when cherry supposedly 'betrayed' him and then was killed really sent him off the edge." akkun spoke. "they weren't supposed to die"

"what about cherry?" takamichi ask

"Emi Masakio. Yes i found an article about her. She died November 1, 2005" 

"November, thats in two months" takemichi thinks. "but akkon said she beytrayed mikey, but why and how? how did she die?" 

"accordingly, she was shot 3 times, at someones home" 

"someones home? who?" 

"tetta kisaki, her boyfriend" 

takemichi face held a confused expression. "boyfriend? their's no way" 

"yes, apparently her younger sister nari took over the family modeling agency at a young age."naoto spoke, "she is her only family still alive."

"she has a sister?" 

"yes, she is 27" naoto said

"maybe we can talk to her sister and find out why she got with kisaki" 

They spent the whole day trying to make an appointment, with nari. But they soon did, after she heard about what happened to akkun. 

The two boys walked into a nice lobby and was brought upstairs to her office. inside sat a woman with red hair and piercing green eyes. 

"You were there when akkun died?" she spoke you could hear the sadness in her voice. 

"uh- yes" 

She looked takemichi up and down a few times and scrunched her face up in disgust. "what is it you want to know about my sister?" 

"why did she end up with kisaki"

"she had no choice" nari spoke as her eyes soften and she buried her face in her hands. "she was blackmailed and when she tried to escape she was killed."

"escape what?" 

"juvie, my mother put her in juvie to teach her a lesson. when she got out kisaki found out something and used it against her"

"what was that something?"

nari's eyes soften as she looked at the picture of her and her sister. "My sister, she had a crush on takashi mitsuya. When they were going to get together, kisaki came into the picture. She went against mikey. draken had just died so that was hard on him."

'so if we manage to get emi out of juvie faster, then kisaki wouldn't get to her.' takemichi thought

"may i ask how she managed to get out of juvie?" 

"simple. my father found out and he got her out in a heartbeat, she was in there for sometime" 

"when does she go?" 

"august 5th she was arrested" 

'august 5th! thats two days after draken died' 

"how did she die?" 

"she got shot"

"i know that but why?"

"mitsuya was the last person to speak to her before her death."

"what was your relation to akkun? you didn't want to talk to us till we said that"

Nari blushed and looked away. "well, Don't worry about it" she squeaked clearly flustered. 

After asking questions, nari had a meeting to go to so they had to leave. they went back to naoto apartment. 

"who is mitsuya?"

"go back and find out, as well as don't let draken die" naoto spoke.

Back in the past. 

"where are we going?" Emi spoke holding onto mitsuya waist, her head nested into his back as they drove down the streets on his motorbike. The wind blowing her red hair as it was slowly getting dark. 

"you'll see" mitsuya said as he kept his eyes forward. They soon arrived at what looks to be...

"ROLLERSKATING RING!" she squealed in excitement. She loved rollerskating, it was relaxing for her. Her father bought her and nari some skates and they would skate around the house and get scolded by amelia. she got off the bike in a hurry and they went and bought skates. 

"hey wait" mitsuya called out as she got up and stepped into the ring.

She stiffed a laugh as mitsuya struggled to keep his balance. "have you ever skated before?"

"no, the only wheels i've been on are from my motorbike." he said gripping the wall. He had a cheeky grin on his face. She slowly skated to him and held her hand out. 

"i'll help you. i promise i won't let go"

"even if i fall?"

"well, maybe" she laughed and he looked hesitant till she flashed him a big toothy grin that made his heart melt. He let her guide him and steady him as he got the hang of it. It wasn't long before he caught on. 

"how are you so well balanced?" he asked, as she gracefully glided backwards.

"Balance helps a lot during fighting. if you don't keep your balance you can lose" she said skating on one foot. "trust that you won't fall" 

He nodded and she let go off one hand letting him glide. Not noticing that everyone else was leaving to watch the show that was about to start. they glided with each other smiling and laughing every time mitsuya would lose balance. 

Mitsuya's feet clashed into each other making him fall back on his butt. He brought Emi down with him, her laying on top as she rubbed her hands. "are you okay" she sat up straddling his lap.

"yea, sorry for making you fall as well" he said rubbing his neck laughing as she slid off kneeling in front of him. 

Emi smiled and flicked he nose. "i promised i wouldn't let go right? and i kept that promise" she said and they sat their staring into each others eyes not saying anything. the sound of fireworks rose in the background making them get up and skate to the railing. 

They stood next to each other enjoying the display. Mitsuya slowly reached for her hand and connected them still facing the display. His face was flushed and it only got worse when she leaned her head on his shoulder. 

"thank you for tonight" she said and looked at him. He looked back down at her before slowly leaning in. She got flustered then realized what was gonna happen and got scared when the next firework went off she looked away making him kiss her cheek.
