IN THE PRESENT!
"i can't believe, drakens on death row" takemichi spoke. "wait, cherry! what about her. i managed to keep her from kisaki"
"yea, i've looked into her. and i know where we could find her."naoto said and they left. They soon arrived at a very nice building. it was small, and they were lead up a staircase.
"sorry, this is private area" the bodyguard spoke, he was tall. both men stopped and takemichi heard a slightly loud voice.
"You look fabulous! amazing!" the photographer smiled as he snapped pictures of emi. She was 5 months pregnant but still did photoshoots.
"we're here to see masakio" naoto held up his badge. Emi looked to see her body guard motioning for her to head to her dressing room and after two more pictures she did.
Emi walked into her dressing room and raised an eyebrow at the men in her dressing room before closing her door. "uh,?" she looked closely and gasped.
"it's me cherry, takemi-" he didn't get to finish before she basically threw herself in his arms. she hugged him tight, her belly not allowing her to hug him that much.
"your safe" Emi smiled, She couldn't keep in contact with none of her old friends or anyone. She's been hearing of toman trying to kill him. Emi stepped back, she was feeling so many emotions as of right now.
"wait- cherry- your crying!" takemichi panicked as naoto gave her a napkin.
Emi dabbed her eyes trying not to mess up her makeup, she started laughing before a real smile appeared on her face. "i'm sorry, this is the first time i've been really happy in a long time. and my hormones are everywhere".Emi's eyes widen before she quickly got up from the mini sofa and made her way to the door. she opened the sliding door and spoke to her bodyguards before closing the door and locking it.
"so your having a baby" takemichi looked at her bare stomach. She was in a nice two piece set and was taking maternity pictures, alone.
Emi looked down placing a hand on her stomach before sighing. She didn't want to bring a child into this world especially with hanma as the father of the child. But she didn't have the heart to kill it or give it away.
"yes, but i'm sure that's not what your here for takemitchy. make it quick" emi said worried that hanma might find out he is here.
"before we start, this is naoto tachibana, he is hinata's brother" takemichi looked at naoto, before talking. "what happened to toman"
Emi's eyes widen, as more flashbacks from the past popped up in her head. " takemichi, a lot happened. Toman wasn't the same. i regret everything i did to mikey but i didn't have a choice. it was HIM, he ruined my life." emi said balling fist. "i should be with the love my life not this sick bastard"
"him?" takemichi leaned forward. "why didn't you have a choice?"
"kisaki," she said staring at takemichi. "he threatened my sister. i threw my life away so she could be happy and live a nice life with akkun and their child."
"nari, married akkun and had a child?" takemichi asked and emi nodded.
"my sister is missing along with their child, and i haven't heard from akkun in a bit"she speaks
"masakio, akkun is dead" noato simply said to get it out of the way.
Emi put her hands over her mouth as she got up and punched the wall leaving a hole. "he said, that he wouldn't die" she cried out her shoulders shaking. "he was supposed to come back and live a nice life with my sister. not die!"
"who said that?" takemichi stood. "cherry who-"
"CHERRY IS DEAD! that version of me is dead! she died the day i betrayed, mikey, draken, and mitsuya!" emi shouted. "takemichi, do you not know who i'm engaged to? or the father of my unborn child?"
He shook his head, staring hard. 'she said she betrayed mitsuya, so who is it?'
"hanma. i ended up with hanma" she muttered. "that man, broke me. he broke cherry. kisaki he manipulated me, to hurt mikey. he is hurting everyone that was close to mikey. i don't even know what happened to draken"
"draken is on death row." takemichi said sadly.
Emi's breath hittched in her chest, she broke down. Years of emotions washed over her. She lost all her friends, she only really stayed in contact with hinata but they haven't talked in awhile since emi didn't know about her death. She hated how she let herself become.
"takemichi? have you spoken to hinata?" emi asked. "i've been calling but she won't answer."
"hina is dead"
emi's tears stopped rolling down her face. First mikey, her dad, draken, mitsuya, her sister, and now hinata. She was just with hinata, she was the first person to know of emi's pregnacy. Everyone she really cared for she lost them all because of one man. She hated him, if she was stronger she would've killed him.
"emi, may i ask what happened to your tattoo?" takemichi asked looking at her ribcage where the dragon tattoo used to be.
"makeup" she muttered. this tattoo was the only thing she had left of the old toman she remembered. the toman where they would go around recruiting people, fighting, having brawls, partying afterwards. She missed when she was happy, most of all she missed mitsyua.
mitsuya was the love her life and she knew it. She doesn't know what happened to him, but she still had the promise ring he gave her. She still loves him, his smile, his caring aura, his kind words.
But all that was gone, it was only a matter of time before she lost the last person left from her past. She looked at takemichi and grabbed his shoulders giving him a stern look.
"You have to get out of tokyo" she said. There was a knock on the door and she knew her guard was back she walked and grabbed her food closing the door. "i may regret everything that i did. But i don't regret giving up everything for my sister. You are the last person from the old toman that kisaki hasn't gotten too. if you don't get out of tokyo.....
