*RING RING*

"Hello?" Emi spoke. She was currently at home. She was putting together a small basket for mitsuya and smiley.

"Emi.."

"Oh Mikey. Where are you." She asked as she smiled eating some of the chocolate. She was having a fairly good day since the fight was later.

"Emi you need to come to the hospital." Mikey spoke through the phone.

"Huh? I was just heading over there. Is taka up?" She said walking to her bike.

"No. I'm sorry, It's nari.... She-"

Emi's eyes widen as her phone slipped from her hand onto the concrete outside shattering. She was paralyzed in fear, her body moved in its on as she hopped on her bike and raced to the hospital.

Her body was numb by the words that left mikeys mouth. Her sister, nari, was in the hospital. She zipped past the cars almost getting hit but she didn't even care as of right now.

She raced inside the hospital, and ran down the hallways till she seen Mikey, takemichi, Emma and draken in front of the emergency room. The light at the top of the door red.

"Mikey! Emma! What happened!" Emi raced over to them.

The blondes all turned and looked over at her. Their heads all dropped to the ground not looking her in the eye. Emi could hear her heart pounding in her chest.

"I'm sorry. There was a bike and, when I turned around she was on the-"

Emi don't know why but sudden rage built up in her. She grabbed takemichi by the throat and held him up against the wall. "Who did it!"

"Emi calm down." Emma tried to speak to her best friend. Emi glared at Emma making her jump slightly in fear. She had never felt this way towards emi even when she would brutally beat someone in front of her.

"Calm down." Emi laughed gripping takemichi's neck choking him. "My sister is in the damn hospital! And he was there! He could've prevented this!" She glared at him.

"Emi stop!" Draken pulled her off the blonde boy making him cough and catch his breath as his face was red.

"Let me go!" Emi yelled out, she felt the need to destroy something. She had so many built up feelings that she wanted to release. "I'm going to kill the son of a bitch that hurt my sister!"

Mikey walked up to the red head fighting to get out of darkens hold. He lifted his hand and slapped her across the face. He vowed to never hit a female but she needed that hit. Emi stopped fighting and looked shocked at Mikey.

"I'm sorry. But you needed it. Calm down emi." Mikey said as draken let her go. "We all care for nari as our own sister as well. We are worried for her well-being. You have to think positive." He said.

Emi don't know how but she snapped. Her lip poked out as tears bubbled in her eyes as she fell to her knees and cried her eyes out.

She sobbed on the hospital floor till Mikey sat down and pulled her into a hug. "It'll be okay." He rubbed her back. (Flashbacks from chapter 29)

"I can't lose her. She is my baby sister. I love her too much.. I-I tried to keep her away from this life." Emi sobbed out, in mikeys chest.

Emma joined them on the floor hugging emi's back. "She saved my life. She jumped in front of me last minute."

Emi let out a sad laugh. "Of course she had to go and play hero." She said, then looked up at takemichi with slightly puffy eyes. She held her arms out signaling him to join him to hug her. When he got close to her she pulled him into her chest. "I'm sorry, takemitchy. My anger clouded my judgments. I didn't mean to choke you." She cried hugging him.

"It's okay cherry." He patted her back smiling.

Emi's eyes got cold as she looked at him with tears running down her face. "But seriously, who did it."

Draken put a hand over takemichi's mouth as he sat down as well. "So you can go on a killing spree no." He said. He knew if she found out, he would have to babysit her because Mikey will only encourage her.

Emi pouted as she fell back into Emma's chest. "No fair." She whined. She let out a small laugh and wipped her face. "I love you guys as my family. I want you guys to know this." She said with all the honesty. "Even you takemitchy. You are like my little brother."

"We love you too emi." They said hugging her.

Emi smiled before pushing everyone off her. "Gosh, this is embarrassing. Sitting on a stale hospital floor crying my eyes out and Hugging. I have a reputation." She dusted her self off.

"Yea, as the infamous cherry." Emma mocked rolling her eyes.

"Exactly." Emi said winking at her. She realized they were just trying to take her mind off the situation at hand. It was working till the doctor came out

"Are you the family of hasakio nari?" The nurse spoke.

Emi jumped up and ran towards the doctor. "Yes that's my sister." She said.

The nurse let out a painful sigh. "I'm sorry we tried all we can but the force of the hit went through her arms and hit her scull. She-"

Emi let out a shaky breath. Her heart stopped as she stumbled backwards her hand flying to her mouth as more tears streamed down her face like waterfalls. "We have already contacted your parent's" the nurse said before walking back in the room.

"Emi?" Draken placed a hand on her shoulder. But emi shrugged it off and ran down the hallway, she passed mitsuya and hakkai on the way.

She ran out the hospital and kicked over a trash can, as she ran a hand through her hair. She let out a breath she didn't know she was holding as she cried. She walked to the side of the hospital and slid her back down.

"Em!" Mitsuya ran towards her. He didn't think twice before embracing her. He didn't say nothing but held her while she cried. "Are you okay now? Want to tell me what happened?" He asked as she calmed down.

"N-nari s-she..." she said letting out one last sob till a smile graced her face. "She's alive!" She hugged him tightly.

"So what are you crying for? Go give her a good knock in the head." He smiled helping her up.

"I wish I could but. She is in a coma. They don't know when she'll wake up. And if she does, she might not have her memory." Emi said as they walked to the front where the others were.

"Kisaki." Takemichi balled up his fist staring at the ground. "It was Kisaki that hit nari with the bat."

Emi's face got cold as she stuffed her hand in her pockets. A menacing laugh left her lips sending a shiver down the others back. "He better count his days. Come on, we have a fight to get too." She smirked.
