Part thirteen

Evie's POV

I woke up to the sun beaming through the curtains. I groaned and tried getting up. Only that i couldn't. There was a massive heavy man on top of me.

i tried pushing him off but he wouldn't move.

"Oi, fatty i need the toilet." He groaned and rolled off me.

I thanked him and walked into his bathroom. I did my business and washed my hands before walking out.

"I'm gonna go make breakfast. Come down with me?" He asked putting a t-shirt on. I nodded and followed him downstairs.

We walked into the kitchen and than, Brennan, Eric and Daniel were all sat at the island.

"Morning bitches." Eric said. I mumbled a morning before grabbing a cup of coffee. Leo took the coffee out of my hands, "no caffeine before your meds."

"What are you, my nurse now?" I gave him a dirty look. He handed me the pills, "Take the pills bitch." And kissed my forehead.

I took the pills and sat next to Daniel. He passed me a coffee and i thanked him before drinking it.

We were talking before i heard a cry come from the baby monitor. I excused myself and walked to Bucky's room. I opened the door and walked in picking him out of his crib. "Morning buck." I said kissing his head. I then walked to Ashtons room and woke him up.

We walked back into the kitchen and ashton ran straight to Brennan, whilst than held bucky.

We all ate in a confortable silence and i walked upstairs getting ashton dressed into a black pair of jeans and a black t-shirt. I then got myself dressed into a black pair of leggings an a place cropped long sleeved top.

I then got bucky dressed into a pair of black shorts, black Jordan top and a pair of black shoes.

I put my shoes on and ashton put his on before i walked downstairs with them both.

We walked into a living room and i sat both boys on the sofa putting iron man 2 on and left them there before trying to find Leo.

I walked to a room and walked in seeing Leo and some other men.

"Whoops, sorry ill come back later." I said. "That's quite alright Evie, your going to have to come to these meetings soon anyways." He motioned for me to sit down. I shut the door behind me and at down.

They were talking about some drug shipment that's gonna be coming in soon an how they're gonna deal with it.

Just some really boring shit. I ended up zoning out.

I was brought out of my thoughts when all the men stood up to walk out. I stood up and started walking out. "Not you Evie." I stopped in my tracks and turned around.

Once all the men left i spoke. "When can we go back home?" "You want to go back home?" He asked suspiciously. "Yes, i live there and I've paid the bills." He nodded.

"Ill take you back there tonight." I smiled and nodded before walking out.

We are currently at my house now and the boys are upstairs asleep.

"How do i know you wont run again?" Leo asked smirking. "I guess you'll just have to trust me."

"Goodnight Evie." "Goodnight Leo." I shut and locked the door. I walked upstairs and into my dads old room.

I began cleaning it. Throwing the bottles and cans in the bin. Throwing the sheets in the wash. I opened the curtains and cleaned them.

After forty minutes the room was tidy and the bed had new sheets on it. I sprayed the room to make it smell nicer and put the weed in the top cupboard downstairs.

I started moving my stuff into my dads room and filled the closets with my clothes. I'm going to be sleeping in it so now the boys have their own space.

I lied in the bed and slowly let myself sleep.

"Ashton get your shoes on!" I shouted. He ran downstairs and put his shoes on. Today is Sunday and I have to go back to work.

I put both boys into the car and drove to the cafe.

I walked in wearing a black long sleeved top and a shirt black skirt. "Evie! Oh my days your alive!" Andrew said hugging me. I laughed and hugged him back.

"We'll look at the boys! Your all grown up." He said looking at both boys. They both smiled up at him.

Andrew left the cafe and I put the apron round My waist. I sat both the boys on a table and put Ashtons iPad in front of them so they could watch a movie.

The cafe had a few customers come in and before I knew it, it was 6pm. The boys had dinner at the cafe so I put them in the car and drove home.

Once I pulled into the driveway I saw 3 black expensive cars. I walked up the stairs holding Bucky and ashton was behind me.

The door was open.

I took my gun out of my bag and aimed it in front of me as I slowly walked into the house. I looked into the kitchen to see Carlos and two other men sat at my table.

"Ashton, can you take Bucky upstairs and get both of you ready for bed?" I asked. He nodded and picked Bucky up walking upstairs.

I lowered my gun. "What the hell are you doing in my house?" I asked. Carlos took out a packet.

The packet of weed that was in my cupboard. "So your going through my house now?" I said angrily.

"I have to make sure my sons kids are in a safe environment, and they clearly aren't." He said.

"That was my dads, I put it up there because I didn't know what to do with it." I said.

"Listen, you're going to give Leonardo full custody of the boys, and you are going to leave the country. Understand?" Carlos said.

"No"

"No? Evie, we can do this the easy way or the hard way." He said. One of his men stood.

"I suggest you get out of my house." I said aiming my gun at one of his men.

"You wouldn't do it." "Don't underestimate me." I said shooting the man in the leg. The man dropped to the floor crying holding his leg.

Carlos looked impressed. "Get out of my house" I said again.

Carlos stood. The other man took his gun out and pulled the trigger. I managed to move but it grazed my side. I fell clutching my side.

Carlos walked over to me. "Welcome to the family Evie" the man who shot me dragged the other man out of the house leaving a nice blood trail on my floor.

I slowly tried standing up and sitting myself on the chair but Ashton came downstairs. "Oh my god! Ashton go upstairs. Now!" I shouted. He ran upstairs.

I lifted my top up and started wrapping my torso with a bandage. I then slowly sat on the floor and grabbed the cloth and water. I started cleaning the blood off the floor but it hurt like a bitch.

"Evie! Evie!" Someone shouted running into the house. I groaned recognising Leo's voice.

He came to my side and spoke. "What the hell happened?" "Your dad gave me a nice welcoming into the family." I said sarcastically.

He sighed and helped me up. He walked me upstairs and I told him to put me in my dads room. He nodded and set me on the bed.

"You managed to fix this up." He looked around the room. All I did was nod as my eyes were closing.

"It's ok, rest." He said kissing my cheek.
