Chapter fifteen

Evie's POV

I woke up to someone lying on me. I opened my eyes and saw Bucky lying on me. Next to me was ashton. I was holding his hand. I slowly and carefully placed Bucky next to me and stood up.

I walked out if the room and shut the door before going into the bathroom. I got into the bath and brushed my teeth.

I was brushing my teeth in the mirror and I couldn't help but look at the beautiful necklace. I smiled at it.

I then walked back to my room and got dressed into a red jumper and a white short skirt. I then dried my hair and straightened it.

I then went downstairs and cleaned up the boys toys before grabbing myself a yogurt. I ate it and sat down on my phone.

Ding dong

I got up and walked towards the door. I opened it to reveal Leo. "Morning" I said opening it wider. "Good morning to you sunshine." He said amused walking in.

I gave him a coffee and made me one before hearing ashton walk downstairs. He was wearing blue trousers and a blue top.

"Good morning ash, come eat." I said putting a yogurt in front of him. He nodded lazily before sitting down at the table.

I walked upstairs and woke Bucky up getting him dressed into a grey tracksuit.

I fed him his yogurt and placed him on the play mat in the living room.

Ashton was now playing out in the street with the other kids and me and Leo were in the attic getting my parents old wedding book down.

I set it down at the table and we began looking through it. I saw a picture of me as a baby in a little bridesmaid dress and me and Leo made jokes about it.

"I have a dress appointment scheduled for tomorrow." He said. "Ok, thanks."

"Do you have anyone to go with?" He asked. I shook my head no before looking at venues.

There's a beautiful house in wales that also had a cute wedding reception. The wedding would take place outside and then the reception would be inside. I immediately fell in love with the house as soon as I saw it and now Leo is on the phone making arrangements for the 27th of December.

Right now I'm making the guest list. All I'm inviting is ashton and Bucky. I've got no one else to invite. Leo is inviting the whole Italian mafia and his family.

"Leo?" He hummed in response. "Can I invite the gang?" I asked. He looked at me for a moment. "Absolutely not."

I stared at him in shock. "Excuse me? This is my wedding too!" I argued.

"Do you want it to be a blood bath?" He asked. I went silent. "Fine, I won't invite anyone." I said.

After a lot of people being put on the guest list, I began making the table arrangements.

Before I knew it, it was 5pm. I called ashton inside and put fish fingers and chips in the oven.

Leo had already gone home and the boys were both watching iron man whilst Ashton pretended to be him. I swear that kid is addicted to marvel.

I took the food out of the oven and put a handful of chips and a fish finger on a plate for Bucky. Before getting two fish fingers and a handful of chips for ashton.

"Boys dinner!" I said as I walked over to pick Bucky up. I placed Bucky down and grabbed myself some chips for my dinner.

After the boys finished eating I got them in the bath and teeth cleaned before putting their pyjamas on.

"Goodnight Bucky" I said tucking him in. "Goodnight ashton" I said tucking ashton in and kissing his forehead.
"Goodnight Evie!"

I turned their light off and walked downstairs. I turned the tv off and began washing the dishes.

I then hoovered and grabbed the washing out of the washing machine. I took it outside and grabbed a stool to reach the washing line to hang it up.

I then walked back inside and locked the front door before closing the curtains. I walked upstairs and got into my pyjamas.

I was looking through Instagram and came across a post of celeste with another girl in Australia.

I sighed and unfollowed her before turning my phone off.

I turned towards the wall and stared at it blankly before slowly dosing off.

"Evie wake up!" Someone screamed. I shot out of my bed and ran towards the boys room. There I saw ashton crying looking down at Bucky.

My heart dropped.

I quickly ran over to the crib to see Bucky practically blue. I picked him up and began preforming a cpr for babies. He started breathing but only slightly.

I picked him up and grabbed Ashtons hand rushing out of the house grabbing my phone and keys on the way. I put Bucky in the car seat and ashton got in himself.

I started speeding to the hospital and gave my phone to ashton so he could call Leo and tell him what's going on.

I parked the car and ran out holding Bucky whilst ashton ran after us.

"Help! Please help! My son!" I shouted. A nurse came running towards me and took the baby out of my arms. I began following her until a doctor stopped me.

"I'm sorry, you can't go in there." He said. "Like hell I can't! Let me see my son!" I shouted. He gave me a sympathetic smile and pointed to the waiting room.

I picked a crying ashton up and carried him to the waiting room.

After an hour the doctors hadn't given me any information. Ashton got tired of crying and was now sleeping with his head on my lap whilst I stroked his hair.

My head shot up at someone calling my name. I carefully got up and ran to Leo. I cried in his arms as he held me.

"I don't know what happened! He just stopped breathing, I couldn't do anything. God I felt so helpless." I rambled on.

"It's ok, you did the right thing" he said rubbing my back. He walked me back to the waiting room and sat next to me. Ashton had his head on my lap, I had my head on Leo's shoulder and he had his head on top of mine holding my hand.

"Immediate family of Bucky Kinsey?" The doctor called. I shot out of my seat waking ashton up.

"Yes!"

"What's your relation to him?"

"I'm his mother, that's his father and brother." I said

The nurse nodded.

"What happened to my baby?" I asked.

"Well he stopped breathing, but well done for preforming cpr, it saved his life." I nodded.
"Is there any history of breathing issues?"
"Yes, I have them, they were bad when I was really young." I said.
"Ok, so he has asthma, it isn't anything to worry about but he will need an inhaler."

"How much is an inhaler?" I asked. "For the one he needs as he is young, it is forty pounds." My heart dropped.

I only had thirty pounds left.

"Ill cover it" Leo said. The nurse nodded and wrote it down.

"Can we see him?" I asked. She nodded and we all followed her as Leo held ashton.

Once we got into the room I sat next to him. He was in a crib with a breathing mask on. I couldn't help but let a few tears leave my eyes.

"Hey, it's ok! It's only asthma. He will be fine" Leo tried helping me.

"I know, I just got scared I was going to loose him too." I said wiping the tears.
