Part eleven

Evie's POV

One year later
June

"Ashton get up, its your birthday!" I shouted as i opened his curtains. He rubbed his eyes and sat up. "Morning mum." "Morning baby, get dressed for me yeah?" He nodded and walked into the bathroom.

I quickly got dressed into a pair of black jeans and a Gucci vest top. I put my hair into a high pony tail and put my heels on.

We have been living in the Isle of Wight for a year now. We have been staying in the caravan and i managed to get a job at a nursery. I changed my name to belle Henderson and ashton and Bucky also had the last name Henderson. Today is Ashtons eighth birthday and he is very excited. I also dyed my hair to brown fading into a white.

I put his five presents on the table and looked down to see Bucky crawling towards me. I picked him up. Bucky is now one years old and he goes to the nursery i work at.

I got him dressed into a Jordan top, a pair of grey joggers and put his little Jordan's on his feet. He can stand on his own now but cant walk.

I saw ashton come out of the bathroom wearing a Gucci t-shirt and a pair of black jeans. I smiled and ushered him to sit down.

He got an iPad, a shirt, pair of shoes, toy car and a bike. He smiled and thanked me as i was making waffles for breakfast.

"Pack your school bag!" I said and he ran to pack his school bag. I put the waffles on the table and the two boys ate them. I grabbed myself one and ate it whilst making both their packed lunches. I saw the school bus stop outside the estate and handed ashton his lunch box watching him run to the bus. I waited till the bus left to pick Bucky up and walk to the car.

I placed him into his seat and drove to the nursery where i worked.

Right now I'm placing both boys into their beds after they fell asleep on the way home from swimming. I kissed both their foreheads and got my phone out. I got an iPhone as apparently It's like really good.

As i was scrolling i heard cars drive around the caravan park. That's weird.

I looked out the window to see a bunch of fancy cars driving around. Oh shit

I quickly grabbed everything and the boys and put it all in the car. I then got into the car and turned it on. I drove out of the estate quickly.

I looked in my mirror to see multiple cars following me. Shit

I drove over the speed limit trying to loose them. I looked in the backseat to see ashton staring at me.

"Ash, can you do something for mummy?" I asked. He nodded. "Ok, i need you to come sit on my lap and hold the steering wheel so it goes straight." He nodded and climbed into my lap. He took ahold of the wheel And i took the gun out from below the seat. I rolled the window down and aimed my gun behind us.

I shot at the cars wheel and it moved off the road.

I got ashton back in the backseat and began speeding again. Well until another car stopped in front of us. I quickly grabbed my gun and saw Leo step out of the car. I did the same thing and aimed it at him.

"Leave me and my kids alone." I shouted. "Not gonna happen, incase you forgot, they are also mine." He said raising his hands. "Legally they are, biologically they aren't! So go away." I said.

I heard the door of my car open and a man take both my boys out the car. I ran forward only to be stopped by a pair of arms wrapping around mine holding me in place. Leo took the gun out of my hand whilst i screamed at the man to let my kids go. I was screaming before i felt a sharp sting in my neck.

I tried fighting it but it wouldn't work. I slowly just let the drug overtake my body as i went limp and into the darkness.

My eyes shot open as i sat up. I looked at my surroundings to see myself in a dark, yet classy room. It was black and silver and i was sat in a beautiful big bed. I looked around and spotted the door. I got up and walked towards it. I twisted the knob and walked out.

I walked down the hallway and down the stairs. I stopped when i got to the kitchen and saw Bucky and ashton sat there.
Ashton got up and ran straight to me. I picked him up and hugged him tightly kissing his cheek. I walked over to Bucky and picked him up, hugging and kissing him.

I set them both back down and saw Leo staring at us. "Boys why dont you go play in the garden? I have somethings to discuss with your mum." He said. Ashton looked to me and i nodded so he took Bucky outside.

"Sit?" He asked pointing to the chair opposite him. I slowly sat down and waited for him to speak.

"First of all i want to apologise for the way i got you here. This is my home and we are back in London. well, the outskirts of London." I nodded.

"I'm going to explain everything to you ok?" He asked. I nodded and he sighed.

"My dad is the leader of the Italian mafia. My ma is the leader of the Mexican mafia. I am the heir to the Italian mafia. I'm going to be capo by tomorrow. You and the boys will have to go with me."

I made a confused face. "Why?"

"Because, i need my family there. As you will be crowned the Italian mafia queen."

"Like hell i am, you can shove that idea up your arse." I shouted.

"Keep your voice down, and yes you are. You dont have a choice." I just chose to accept that and sat back.

He explained everything from the plan to actually liking me. He never gave information back and actually took a liking in me. He seemed to be telling the truth. And he apologised a thousand times.

"I am really sorry, i never meant-" "i forgive you" i said out of nowhere. "You do?" He asked. I nodded.

"Just please no more secrets?" I asked. He nodded. "Oh, before i forget. How did you know i was in the Italian mafia?"

"My mum told me." He nodded and i walked out of the kitchen.
