Part two

Evie's POV

I watched as 5 men walked in. I let them get seated before grabbing my notepad and pen walking over to them.

"Evening gentlemen, what can I get for you?"
"I would say a whiskey, but you look a little too young to be selling that" one of the men spoke.
"Than! Leave the girl alone" the other man spoke. Wait. It's Leonardo from the train.
"It's alright, I am seventeen but I'm allowed to pour drinks in here." The guy who's name is "than" nodded his head.

"Ill take a tea and a slice of carrot cake, oh and the names Brennan" he said shooting a wink. I forced a smile and wrote it down.

"Ill just have a water" the other man spoke. "Oh come in Daniel! You're so boring" than said. I wrote the water down. And looked at the next man.

"Ill take a milkshake and one of your chocolate cookies." "God Eric you're so childish" Daniel said. "SHUTUP" he yelled.

"And you sir?" I asked Leonardo. "Ill take a coffee and a slice of cheesecake"

"Ok it'll be with you as soon as possible" I said walking to the counter. I began pouring the whisky before Bucky started crying. I picked him up and started bouncing him. Once he stopped crying I tried putting him back down but he wouldn't go back down so I made the food whilst he was on my left hip.

I finished the drinks and placed them on a tray and picked it up with my right hand and Bucky was in my left. I walked back over to the men and placed the tray down in-front of them. They all looked to buck and had confused faces.

"Is he your brother?" Than asked. "No, he's my son" I said taking the tray. "Aren't you a little young for a kid?" He asked. "Nope" I said. "So you got a boyfriend then?"

Why are the so nosey

"No I do not have a boyfriend." I said trying to keep calm. "Then what's his dad to you?" He asked. This guys getting on my last nerve. "He isn't in our lives." "Oh, I get it. You don't know who it it." This bitch. I just smiled and walked back over to the counter. I cut a slice of carrot cake and a slice of cheese cake before getting the cookie. I placed it on the tray and walked back over to them. I placed the tray down and walked back to the counter. I placed Bucky into the stroller before my phone rang. I picked it up and answered.

"Hi?" "Evie! Hi honey" I froze. My mum. I walked outside. "Mum, how the hell did you get this number?" I asked. "The prison gave it to me, I haven't heard your voice in so long." She said. "I have no interest talking to you." I said. "Evie, it's not my fault I have another ten years in this shit hole." "Well it sorta is, maybe if you didn't do drugs and get caught you wouldn't be there." I said. "Listen, I need some money." "No" "what do you mean no?" She said angrily. "It's your fault Ashton got taken away." I said through my teeth. "What? He got taken away" "yep, he's living with your sister now" I said. "Oh" she said. "I'm going to go now" "wait, Evie I need the-" I hung up on her. I sighed and turned around only to be scared.

"Jesus Christ! You scared the shit out of me" I said to Leonardo who was standing in the door. "I saw you walk out and wanted to check on you" he said. "How much did you hear?" I asked. "Everything." I sighed and walked back Inside.

After a while the men came up to the counter. "How much?" Daniel asked. "Twenty five please" I said. He gave me the money and walked out. I sighed. No tip.

Eric stepped forward and gave me five pounds. "A tip" he smiled. I thanked him. And the rest walked out except Leonardo. "Are you closing up now?" He asked. "Yes I am" i said taking my apron off. "How you getting home?" "The train" I answered putting a cookie and a slice of cake into a box to take home. "It's ten pm" he said. "I know" "it's not safe for you to be in a train at ten pm" "listen, I do it every day, it's fine." I said. "Well I'm coming with you, just to make sure you get home safely." "You don't have to! Really I'll be ok" I said. "Nope I don't care." He said.

We walked out of the small cafe and I locked it up before pushing the stroller as me and Leonardo walk. Once we got to the station he payed for our tickets and we got on. We took a seat and Bucky was sleeping peacefully. Once we got off I walked him to the bus station where he payed for us again and waited for my stop.

Once the bus stopped we got off and I started walking with him to where my house is. "Oh you live around here" he said sadly. "It's not that bad trust me!" I said smiling at him. He nodded and walked me to the door. Once I opened the door I pushed the stroller in there and turned around.

"Thanks for walking me home" I smiled. "Don't worry about it" he smiled back. I nodded and smiled before waving him off. Once I got inside I took Bucky out and placed him in my bed for him to sleep. I then payed the water bill and checked on my dad. He was passed out on the sofa so I ignored him and placed the box on the side. I then started washing the dishes.

After I washed the dishes I got Into the shower and washed my hair. I then got out and put a t-shirt and shorts on. I then climbed into bed next to Bucky and slowly fell asleep.
