"The pizza here was awesome! Too bad it wasn't blue.", Percy said as the three demigods made their way to Dumbledore's office.

"Lemon drops.", Annabeth answered to the gargoyle, which opened immediately. It seemed the stone gargoyle couldn't see them otherwise they would have been hearing another speech about hacking criminal teens from a stone.

Dumbledore's office was empty.

"Oh gods, where is he? He left the hall before us.", Annabeth complained.

"He's old. Give him a break.", Leo said, examining the things kept on Dumbledore's table.

"He looked as if he could defeat you in a hundered meter race.", Percy pointed out.

"Not so much. Did you see his hand?", Leo said.

Annabeth frowned, "I noticed it during his speech. I wonder how-"

"Waiting for me?", said a voice at the door.

"Yes,", Percy said, "Also we were wondering about that." He pointed to Dumbledore's blackened hand.

"It's nothing, really. It was just a silly mistake I made. Please make yourselves comfortable", he said, drawing three chairs to his table with a flick of his wand.

"Now, tea?", he asked.

"Nah, not tea. Can I get a blue diet coke?", Percy asked.

"Ah, I don't think blue diet coke exists ."

"I can get it at the camp.", Percy said grimly.

"Unfortunately, my dear, we are at Hogwarts and I'm just a demigod who's a wizard. Now, try butterbeer, the best drink from The Three Broomsticks.", he said, bringing four goblets out of thin air.

Once settled, Annabeth leaned and said, "Did you know how the sorting hat would react?"

"I had my doubts, of course. The hat sorts wizards into their houses and you all, by no means, are wizards.", Dumbledore said.

"Or witches.", Annabeth supplied.

"Or witches.", Dumbledore agreed. He made the mistake of picking up his goblet with his injured hand.
A flash of pain went through his face and his goblet toppled, spilling his drink.

"Oops, sorry.", Dumbledore said, cleaning the mess with a swish of his wand.

Annabeth looked at him with her darkened eyes.

"If the wizard's medics don't work, you could always use ambrosia, you know.", she said.

Dumbledore shook his head. "I'm officially a wizard. The god's food could disintegrate me. Besides, it's fine. I've got it worked out.", he smiled at them, an odd expression on his face.

"You've got the signature Athena's cabin look. The look that says, 'Athena always, always has a plan'.", Percy said.

Annabeth frowned. "We have a signature look?"

"Yep", Percy and Leo said  simultaneously.

"It's fine. Believe me.", Dumbledore said, "Now, do you have a reason for bursting into the Headmaster's Office at such an hour?"

"Oh, about that, we wanted to discuss the prophecy with you.... Hopefully you'll be able to tell us something.", Percy said, uneasily.

"My personal experience with prophecies haven't been good. But you may tell me about your prophecy.", Dumbledore said.
