"Look, this is enough. There is something we're missing out and Athena pointed it out" Annabeth was speaking pacing constantly.
It was 3 am and the three demigods were in the common room. Four weeks had passed since Athena's useless message but while it kept Annabeth on her nerves, they weren't able to crack any of it.
Leo raised a hand and Annabeth distracted, stared at him.
"Can we now sleep?" he said, his eyes droopy.
Annabeth considering his question as not worth answering started pacing again.
"There is no solution to this.. But why could that be! Maybe the demigod we're looking for is really dead. But that couldn't be! Hades would have to tell us!" Annabeth started blathering again.
"Ugh! I wish I knew something. A true lead or anything!" Percy knew how much Annabeth hated not knowing.
"Hey", Percy stood up and held his arms in front of him to stop Annabeth from pacing.
"We can figure this tomorrow. How about some sleep?"
"You know I can't sleep!" Annabeth let out frustrated. "I have to do-"
Just then the portrait swung open cutting off Annabeth and three wizards pore in.
"-then where does he go?" said a voice whom Percy later saw was Harry.
"How many times does I have to tell you that you can't Apparate inside the Hogwarts ground!" Hermione's voice chirped in.
Why the hell were they out at such a time!
"I'm telling you, there's something fishy with Malfoy! He-" Harry stopped looking at the three demigods who stood in front of the fireplace like a team.
"What are you doing here?" Ron asked.
"What are you doing here?" Leo asked.
"I thought everyone would be asleep" Harry said, moving forward clearly frustrated and distracted by something.
"We're both awake at three in the morning for different reasons, though I feel like I could help you with something you're wondering on " Annabeth said, coming forward.
"You can't help us with that" Hermione said.
"What if I could?" Annabeth said, clearly not offended.
"Do you even know what we are wondering over?" Ron said slowly.
"Draco Malfoy. You're wondering where he goes? He goes to the room of requirement"
"The what?" Harry asked dazed.
"The Room of Requirement. Don't you know it?" Percy asked.
"No, I'm surprised you do." Harry said, "But how can you confirm it?"
Leo sat down again on the sofa followed by Percy. They let Annabeth do the talking.
"Well, we saw him. Once we were passing by the door and then-" Annabeth suddenly stopped talking.
"Then what?" Ron asked but Annabeth was no longer facing them. Her mind was working capturing every second of what had happened that day.
I had asked the room to show me the son of Hecate.. Just then the gate had opened and Draco Malfoy had come out running. I thought that was because it was already in use but what if ...
"THAT'S IT!" Annabeth exclaimed making Leo and Percy jump.
"It' Draco! He's the one who is-" Annabeth stopped abruptly taking heed of the wizards.
"Who is what?" Harry said.
"The Death Biter. Annabeth meant he is the death biter" Percy said suddenly on his feet. Even Leo was wild awake.
Annabeth frowned at him, all worries forgotten, "Death Biter? Do you mean Death Eater?"
"Yeah that" Percy said.
"How can you say that! Look Harry don't believe them they're scheming!"
"Well I think they're right" Harry said.
"Of course you do! But, Harry, Draco's sixteen! You Know Who will never let someone that young-"
"You guys can now argue all you want but now what we need is tomorrow's sun and a lake to make a rainbow and then we're done" Annabeth said going off to her dormitory with surprised calmness.
"Yeah we'll go too " Percy said dragging Leo along leaving the three staring after them.
"Why do you think she thought Draco was the Hecate's son?" Leo asked once they were in their beds.
"I guess we'll find out tomorrow" Percy said letting himself drift to sleep.
