"Umm yeah, I can try.", Annabeth said unbothered by Snape's dark tone, "A non-verbal spell, meaning we'll be speaking the incarnation in our minds, right? So, the other one won't know what spell we are about to perform. That could earn us a split-second advantage.", Annabeth tried.

Snape was silent for a long time before saying, "Accurate enough. Ten points from Gryffindor for Mr. Jackson's inability to answer this."

Then they were asked to practice non-verbal spells. They tried to feign it but they really didn't have to since Snape was busy roaming around Harry and Ron only. An eagle fluttered at the window near to when they were standing.

"Look at it's feet! It's got a message.", Annabeth said.

"I thought you said they used owls.", Percy said as Annabeth untied the message as discreetly as possible.

"They do. But the owl post is being checked so maybe Grover switched to eagles.", she replied.

She opened the scroll and showed it to them.

Tomorrow night, meet at the lake. Hippocampi bring warnings.
-Grover.

"Now what?", Leo scowled.

"Guess we'll know that tomorrow night", Percy replied.

They were interrupted by a voice saying something like "Protego!".

There was a bang and Percy saw Snape knocked off to the floor. After he was up, he said something to Harry but Percy was too far away to understand those words. Class was dismissed and he followed Annabeth to the common room.

"He tried to jinx me, In case you didn't notice-", a fuming voice said from behind him. He turned and saw Harry, probably explaining his doing to Hermione.

Percy stopped and said to him, "That was damn awesome, dude. He took ten points off me. I don't know why he was so pissed off."

"He hates every Gryffindor.", Annabeth said coming towards them.

"Then why even are we in Gryffindor?", Leo complained.

"Because", Annabeth said as if explaining things to a child, "The sorting hat put us in Gryffindor."

"Anyways, it was amazing. Next time, just tell me in advance and I'll remember to record a video", Percy said. Harry looked pleased with himself while Hemione shot them irritated looks. They all then went to the Gryffindor tower together.

Percy's day was all free as Dumbledore had spared them the potions class so he, Annabeth and Leo went out to explore the castle. The castle was nice. Not where he would ever take Annabeth on a date, though. Still, he was sure Hazel would have loved it because of it's 1890's design and magical aura.

After dinner, they found themselves once again in the common room but now it was tightly packed. As they made their way to the lone empty table, something knocked in his way. He picked up the book and turned to hand it to Harry who was sitting adjacent to his table.

Harry took it with a thanks but not before Percy noticed something written at the back of the book, This book is the property of Half-Blood Prince.

"Half-Blood Prince?", Percy echoed, this thoughts going wildly to Camp half-blood.
