The Doctor, Rose, and Mickey all walked behind the carriage with the soldiers. The Doctor and Rose's hands were stuffed in their pockets while Mickey let his sway freely at his side.
Rose looked around at the scenery in front of them. Rolling green hills of grass with the occasional tree surrounded them on all sides. "It's funny though because you say assassination and you just think of Kennedy and stuff. Not her."
"1879? She's had, oh, six attempts on her life? And I'll tell you something else." The Doctor had reverted to his natural English accent. He glanced between the humans standing on either side of him. "We just met Queen Victoria!"
"I know!" Rose giggled excitedly.
"What a laugh!"
"She was just sitting there!"
"Like a stamp!" Mickey joked. He couldn't help but smile as well. "Come on then. What do you think they're talking about?"
The Doctor shrugged his shoulders. "Oh, who knows. Gardening, politics... hopefully not me."
Mickey and Rose locked eyes and burst out laughing after seeing the Doctor face pale.
"I want her to say we are not amused. I bet you five quid I can make her say it."
"Well, if I gambled on that, it'd be an abuse of my privileges of traveler in time."
"I'm in," Mickey nodded.
Rose smiled with his tongue between her teeth as she titled her head to the side waiting for the Doctor to cave. "Ten quid?"
The Doctor smirked. "Done."

"So, where are you actually from Princess Katherine?"
"Oh, I'm a long way from home, your Majesty, and I cannot return. So, it hardly matters." Katie sighed as she looked out the window of the carriage at the green grass surrounding them. She longed to walk beside the carriage instead with her husband and friends. Queen Victoria's conversation was becoming much too personal.
"Oh, don't be ludicrous. It does matter. I can see it in your eyes, you miss home."
Katie cracked a small smile as she imagined the rolling green hills in front of her red with a burnt orange sky above. Two suns burning bright across the morning sky. "Always."

The carriage pulled up to a grand granite edifice within a courtyard. A large astronomical observatory was connected to the roof.
The Doctor was the first to open the door to the Queen's carriage. The Queen stepped out first accepting the Doctor's offered hand. Katie followed after her and the Doctor grinned brightly at her. "Enjoy the ride?" He asked in his Scottish accent.
"Indeed I did. Enjoy your walk?" Katie replying mimicking the accent.
"Ah. Feet are a little sore but it's worth it," He winked. He bent his arm allowing his wife to rest her hand in the crook of it. He escorted her towards the house where the master of the home was waiting with several servant, all bald men with shiny heads.
"Monks?" Katie whispered in her native tongue. "Seems to be apart of the uniform."
The Doctor shrugged. "Beats me. Guess we'll find out."
The group was greeted by the man of the home, Sir Robert. He stood a few inches shorter than the Doctor and had jet black hair and blue eyes. His hands were clasped behind his back as he looked around nervously.
