Katie sorted through the contents of the Lady's wardrobe looking for something that might fit Rose. It seemed that the Lady was tinier around the waist than Miss Tyler and Katie was wondering if she needed to just chose something and sonic it. She paused at a blue, velvet dress that would fit Rose. She smiled and pulled the gown. "This should do."

As Katie was looking through the wardrobe, Rose was snooping around the room. She opened a cabinet and gasped simultaneously with the woman hidden inside.

It was a young maid, similar in age to Rose dressed in uniform with her dark hair pinned up. Rose held out her hand to the maid to help her out.

Katie dropped the gown on the bed and rushed to the pair as the maid began to ramble. "They came through the house. In the excitement they took the Steward and the Master, and my Lady."

"Do you know where they took them? You can show me the way." Katie said.

Flora shook her head back and forth rapidly. "Oh, but I can't, Miss."

"What's your name?" Rose asked.

"Flora."

"Flora, we'll be safe. There's more people arrived downstairs, soldiers and everything, and they can help us. I promise. Come on. Okay? Come on." Rose took Flora's hand and followed Katie out into the hallway.

Katie rounded the corner and immediately went to turn around after seeing several soldiers lying on the ground unconscious. "You two stay here." She then went back around the corner to check on them. "Alright you two, come on. They've been knocked out, not dead."

"Oh, Miss. I did warn you!"

Katie gasped as someone grabbed her from behind picking her up off the floor as they pressed a cloth against her mouth and nose. She tried to elbow and kick her attacker trying not to take any breathes in case she inhaled the drugs in the clothe but failed as she gasped when she saw Flora and Rose being grabbed as well.

She squeezed her eyes shut as she felt the chemicals to start to take hold about to call out to her husband when suddenly her mind went fuzzy and the room went dark.

"Your wife and companion beg an apology, Doctor. Your companions clothing has somewhat delayed them," Angelo entered the dining room as he spoke.

"Oh, that's all right. Save them a wee bit of ham."

"The feral child could probably eat it raw," The Queen joked.

Captain Reynolds smiled, "Very wise, Ma'am. Very witty."

"Slightly witty, perhaps. I know you rarely get the chance to dine with me, Captain, but don't get too excited. I shall contain my wit in case I do you further injury."

The Captain cleared his throat and nodded. "Yes, Ma'am. Sorry, Ma'am."

"Besides, we're all waiting on Sir Robert." The Doctor turned towards the owner of the estate. "Come, sir. You promised us a tale of nightmares."

"Indeed. Since my husband's death, I find myself with more of a taste for supernatural fiction."

"You must miss him." The Doctor smiled sadly thinking of the time he went without Katie. He wondered if Katie had thought of him often in his absence from her life. She had made jokes about his 'death' before back at their school reunion. It must have been her way to cope.
