Back in France, Katie was sifting through Reinette's mind to discover what the androids wanted with her.

The human woman spoke breathlessly impressed by her childhood friend's actions. "You are in my memories. You walk among them."

"If there's anything you don't want me to see, just imagine a door and close it. I won't look. Oh, actually there's a door just there. You might want to cl- Oh, actually, several. Wait," Katie's eyes snapped open and so did Reinette's. Katie's eyes flared gold causing Reinette to gasp. "You kissed my husband?!"

Reinette's expression turned regretful. "I must apologize, Fireplace girl. I did not know you were married."

Katie shook her head and went back to work with her eyes closed. "Not as mad at you as I am him. He'll pay for that later. Now, back to work."

Reinette relaxed into the mind melt and took a step forward. "To walk among the memories of another living soul. Do you ever get used to this?"

"I try not to make a habit of it." Katie mumbled.

She chuckled. "How can you resist?"

"What age are you" Katie whispered to herself.

"So impertinent a question so early in the conversation. How promising. How old are you?" She turned the question back around.

Katie couldn't help but chuckle. "No, not my question, theirs. You're twenty-three and for some reason, that means you're not old enough." Katie cringed as she heard Reinette gasp and fight back tears. "Sorry, you might find old memories reawakening. Side effect."

"Oh, such a restricted childhood. To feel them all and be so lonely."

"It'll pass. Stay with me."

"Oh, Princess. So lonely. So very, very alone."

"What do you mean, alone? You've never been alone in your life. When did you start calling me Princess?" Katie's eyes snapped open. "No one calls me that anymore."

"Such weight you bore. So many thoughts yet so, so alone. Lonely then and lonelier now. How can you bear it?"

Katie gasped and tore her hands away breaking the link. "How did you do that?"

"A door, once opened, can be stepped through in either direction. Oh, that stupid Doctor. My lonely Princess. Dance with me."

Katie shook her head back and forth. "I can't. You're a little busy tonight."

"Dance with me."

"This is the night you dance with-" Katie's words caught in her throat as she heard her husband's voice.

Cessy. His voice was weak causing Katie to whip around towards the entrance to the ship. "Reinette, I have to go." She started head back towards the ship but Reinette continued to speak.

"Princess who? Doctor who? It's more than just a secret, isn't it?"

Katei turned back around again. "What did you see?"

"That there comes a time, Time Lady, when every lonely little girl must learn how to dance," Reinette extended her hand to the Princess expecting her to take it. She frowned. Katie only shook her head and sprinted into the spaceship.
