A/N: Yes I am indeed alive. I do still work on this story when I have the chance, but I found myself struggling to write this episode about midway between heavy school load and lack of motivation. But it's finally done! I have a lot of great ideas for the episodes as well! Leave comments throughout because I love to read your reactions! -DLConter

"Barricade the door," Captain Reynolds orders once he was in the room. They all rushed to do so, grabbing chairs and moving tables.

"Wait a minute. Shush, shush, wait a minute," The Doctor held up his hand as they all listened. He glanced towards Reynolds, watching as he held a hand to his head looking unsure of himself.

"It's stopped," The Doctor whispered.

The werewolf sniffed at the door before finally leaving.

"It's gone."

"Listen," Katie said. The group could hear the beast walking through the halls around the outside of the room looking for a way in. "Is this the only door?"

"Yes." Roberts' eyes widened in horror. "No!"

He and Reynolds rushed to barricade the other door.

"Shush."

The noises continued outside the walls. Mickey looked towards Katie. "I don't understand. What's stopping it?"

"Something inside this room. What is it? Why can't it get in?" Katie wondered aloud. She looked towards the Doctor, hoping he was having better luck thinking than her.

He was busy sharing smiles with Rose though. "I'll tell you what, though," Rose spoke.

"What?"

Her tongue went between her teeth as it always did when she was giddy. "Werewolf."

"I know! You all right?"

"I'm okay, yeah." She nodded.

Katie rolled her eyes at their antics and turned back to her companion. She looked Mickey up and down for any scratches. "Are you okay?"

Mickey nodded. "Yeah. You? You and Rose must have been down there for a while."

Katie nodded and gave a small smile. "I'm always alright."

Robert was busy talking to the Queen. "I'm sorry, Ma'am. It's all my fault. I should have sent you away. I tried to suggest something was wrong. I thought you might notice. Did you think there was nothing strange about my household staff?"

Captain Reynolds moved towards the Queens side, not liking the short distance Robert was creating between himself and their ruler.

"Well, they were bald, athletic." The Doctor shrugged. "Your wife's away, I just thought you were happy."

"I'll tell you what though, Ma'am, I bet you're not amused now," Rose prodded.

Katie shot daggers at the blonde, not happy with her immaturity. "Not now, Rose."

The Queen snapped at her. "Do you think this is funny?"

Rose lowered her head and adverted her gave, ashamed. "No, Ma'am. I'm sorry."

"What, exactly, I pray tell me, someone, please. What exactly is that creature?"

"You'd call it a werewolf, but technically it's a more of a lupine wavelength haemovariform," The Doctor responded glancing between the Queen and Katie. Katie had moved towards the door once again, her hand tracing of the carvings in the wood.
