It took me a couple minutes to finally find Mikey but I found him nonetheless with a few other guys. “Hey Mikey!?” Unsure if I was interrupting him.

He turned around and smiled. “Oh hey. Sorry they kind of kept me hostage, but yeah I’m ready.” I smiled at him.

“Okay. Well my sister and her friend want to go to Starbucks before we go home. Is that ok?” I looked into his eyes. They were a soft brown when he smiled.

“Sure! I love starbucks!” he giggled and his friends did too. For a second I had forgotten that they were there and I think he did too.

“awww Mike’s got a girlfriend!” One of his friends with spikey hair, a nose piercing, and a lip piercing sang.

“awe you made him blush!” another one with an afro sang.

"finally you got a girl!" one with blonde hair and a lip piercing as well laughed.

“Come on you guys stop it.. you’re embarrassing his girlfriend” another one with black shaggy hair laughed.

“SHUT UP YOU GUYS!!!! SHE'S NOT MY GIRLFRIEND!!!” Mikey scolded them. They just laughed as his face got red. I could feel mine getting red too.

“We’re just messing with ya Mike’s. My name is Frank.” The one with the spikey hair and piercings introduced himself. “This is Ray,” he pointed to the one with the afro “That's Bob" pointing to the blonde one "and this is Gerard, Mikey’s brother.” he pointed to the one with shaggy black hair. They all said hey with a grins on their faces.

“Nice to meet you guys, I’m Audree.” I smiled at them all then looked at Mikey. “Ok ready before they get impatient and decide to leave us?”

“Yeah let’s go. See you guys later!” He shouted back at them as we left then turned to me. “I’m sorry about that, they’re embarrassing sometimes.” He blushed and looked down.

“It’s ok Mikes” i giggled and so did he.

“Yeah they are. I think you’d like them too.” he looked down.

“I’m sure I will Mikey. If they’re your friends and brother then I’m positive I will.” I smiled at him and he smiled back. We caught up with Briella and her friend and headed off  to Starbucks. Mikey and I talked to each other the whole way there. He told me about how his grandma was encouraging them to pursue music, that one day they'd get far in life.

“Yeah she loves nothing more than to hear us play and sing for her. It’s relaxing and she supports us so much. Everything we know is all thanks to her.” He smiled shyly.. I wonder what else he’s thinking about..
