Tw: minor car accident but somewhat gross, alcohol, blood, lil angsty, fluff, very very very tiny smut thing
"Sally, I really don't want to," you whine as you cuddle closer with the blonde in the bed, your friends have made plans the past week to go out tonight and your girlfriend is literally forcing you to go out and enjoy a normal life outside the walls of the hotel
"Please, for me, baby," she pouts with her bottom lip hanging out, knowing you can't resist that face but you frown at her, anyway. You throw the duvet off and sit up in a slump as she wraps her arms around you. "Just for a few hours, okay? Then you'll be right back here with me," she reassures you, but you see a little bit of insecurity filling her features. "You will come back, right?" You sigh as you turn around to face her, your face relaxing as her eyes linger down to her lap.
"Hey," you say softly, placing your hands on her own and she looks at you with tears in her eyes, "Of course I'll come back. I'll always come back to you, I promise." Now you're the one reassuring her. It happens often that Sally's issues get the best of her and her insecurities show up more often than not, "Baby, I don't have to go."
"No, you should," she says, wiping away the tears that she never used to wipe away but since knowing you don't like seeing her pretty face smudged in tears she always wipes them to make you feel better. "I want you to have fun,"
"We can have fun here, together," you say and your phone rings on the bedside table, your friend's name lighting up the screen.
"Please go," Sally says softly with a smile, "I promise it'll be okay, have a few drinks, have fun," she says and she helps you get up and hands you her beloved leopard print jacket to wear out. "Take good care of it," Sally smiles as you head for the door, "And yourself of course,"
"I love you, Sally," you say with a warm smile and she lights up a cigarette as you leave.
You make sure to keep Sally and her thoughts updated and preoccupied the entire night while you're out, she's currently sitting at the bar at the hotel having a few drinks herself with Liz and Will and you're sure to send her selfies and messages telling her what you're up to and try to keep her mind at ease that you are in fact going to come back. You're on the way over to another bar with your friends, near Hotel Cortez, but it happened so fast. The car in front came to an abrupt stop and your friend slams her foot on the brakes but it's too late. Your ears begin ringing as your thrust forward in your seat, banging your head off the dashboard but the seatbelt giving you whiplash and throwing you back again hitting your head off the headrest and you groan in pain. You can't relax or move, your whole body tense and your vision blurry, your fingers twitchy as your head throbs.
After the initial shock wears off you look around to see if your friends are okay and they're in just as much shock as you are, just banged up a little, quickly you unfasten your seatbelt and swing open the door and you feel the adrenaline pump through your body as you head over to the car in front, eying the damage to the frontend rear end of the cars. The door was easy to open and you notice the man isn't wearing a seatbelt so their head was leaning against the wheel. You gulp as you reach out to him, "Sir are you okay?" you ask trying to lift his head, blood spewing out from his head wound all over Sally's jacket and your friends thankfully had called an ambulance beforehand.
You help him up and in his drunken state, he just laughs it off and says he's fine but you aren't convinced at all and wait by his side until the ambulance arrives. It takes too long and he is starting to lose consciousness so you try to talk to him to keep him awake and then the paramedics finally arrive to help him. They ask you a lot of questions and right now you're too in shock to say much, but after them checking your friends over, you refuse any treatment so they leave with the man to the hospital.
You shakily grab your bag from the wrecked car, saying bye to your friends and walking back the five minutes to Hotel Cortez, not risking anything else. You're not able to check your phone, even though Sally has been spamming you for the last hour since you stopped messaging but you open the doors to see Iris at the desk, her mouth wide in shock at the state you are in.
"Y/N, what happened?" she asks, swiftly making her way over to check on you.
"I'm fine, don't -" you feel a little sick from the amount of alcohol in your system and the adrenaline from the situation starting to now leave.
"Honey, come with me." she leads you into the bar area where Liz was cleaning up Sally's mess.
"Oh, get that blood away from my bar!" she calls swinging her finger at Iris. "And don't even think about drinking from the poor girl, Iris. Come over here, let's get you cleaned up," she says taking your arm heading towards one of the tables she hasn't cleaned yet and Iris went to grab a first aid kit. What neither of you noticed, however, is that Sally has been watching the entire thing, hiding away in the shadows.
"What the fuck happened?" Sally's voice shook through the quiet hotel in the dead of night, "Why didn't you answer my calls? I've been worried sick!" she screams storming over to the table until she sees you, "Oh my god," she gasps, "What the fuck happened?" she repeats
"Sally it's fine," you say, taking the antibacterial wipe from Iris rubbing your forehead with it, and wiping away all the blood from your skin. "It's not my blood,"
Sally lets out a throaty chuckle, furrowing her brows, "Not your blood?" she asks quieter before her voice becoming louder, "You killed someone? Without me?" she asks with a little jealous pout this time
Your whole body relaxes as Liz and Iris just leave you both to it and you can't help but laugh at what the blonde said, "No, Sally. I didn't kill anyone. He's fine." you say to her and she takes a seat beside you, "Got in a bit of an accident, I'm fine I promise."
"This is why I don't want you leaving this place." she states, lighting up a cigarette, her eyes watering as she thinks deeply, "You're all I have, if you die out there I will have no one." she clenches her other hand into a fist, digging her nails into her palm.
"I'm not-" you frown as you see her face and you pout a little, "Oh baby," you coo and you take her jacket off as it's quite warmer in here than it is outside, and you head over to her and sit comfortably on her lap. "I'm not going to die and if I do I will make sure it happens here," you say cupping her cheeks, wiping her tears with your thumbs. "I love you, Sally," you say to her as she finally makes eye contact. She takes a shaky breath and you know all those thoughts buzzing around in her head are nothing but agony to her.
"You're all I have. I can't lose you." she says, her voice strong with emotion and you know what she says is the truth and that hurts you more than anything
"You're not going to lose me, it was just a few scratches," you reassure her, continuing the comforting strokes on her cheeks as you look deeply into her chocolate brown eyes
She still looks uncertain until her gaze fixes on her jacket and she frowns, "My coat." she pouts and you turn your head to see that its usual golden colour is now crimson red.
"Well a certain someone here loves cleaning blood stains from things I'm sure she'd fix it up in no time," you joke trying to bring some amusement back to the blonde and she laughs a little and she leans into your touch as your hands are still on her face.
"I love you, Y/N, so much," she says leaning in towards you, her lips so close to touching yours
"I love you, Sally," you say and your lips meet hers and it feels like it always does every time you kiss and you want to savour every moment your lips touch. Tingles filling every inch of your body and she discards her cigarette in the ashtray beside her and her hands roam your body making you moan at every gentle caress as she smooths her hand up and down your waist over your dress before they go up higher and pinch at your breasts slightly. "Want to take this back to our room?" you pant, your eyes filled with lust, and her eyes darken as a smirk crosses her lips.
She answers your question with her mouth on your neck gently nipping it with her teeth, making you arch back as her tongue licks up your neck to your ear before she whispers "Always, baby,"
