"Uh, is this Viper poisonous? Because I should warn you, I'm very allergic to poison!" Max says as he now understands the situation but it was too late....

"Snake bite! Snake bite! Snake bite!" The flushed animals chanted.

HIIISSSSS

"As proof of your allegiance you will now receive the bite of a one-fanged, half-blind Viper fueled by a diet of anti-human rage!" Snowball explains as a giant Viper exits from the pipe.

HIIIISSSS

"Who wants to go first?" Snowball asks as he wags his tail. The snake opens his jaw and shows a giant fang.

"What! No!" Max yells.

"Uh... Okay, here's the thing, though. Tiny Dog. Can I call you "Tiny Dog"? It fits you. Let's admit that. Look. Between you and the fat dog, I like you the best." Snowball says as he sweet talks Max.

"Oh, thank you!" Max says as he wags his tail a little. Happy with the compliment. But he soon dropped as he ears and tail droop when he hears what Snowball says next.

"Tiny Dog's gonna go first." Snowball yelled.

"Come on, Snowball! They're newbies! They shouldn't be initiated right away! Wait a few days!" I demanded as I try to convince him not to go through with the initiation.

"Vicky, you and I both know we need the recruits." Snowball said.

"But-" I began only to be cut off.

"Everybody, TD's going first!" Snowball cut in and push Max forward.

"Snowball!" I yelled.

"No, no, no. Tiny Dog does not want to go first. Take the fat dog!" Max denied.

"Snake bite!" The crowd chants.

"No, no, no. Stop!" Max tries to wiggle out of their grasps....he's a goner. I'm just kidding. It just hurts for a while...like a prick.

"Snake bite! Snake bite! Snake bite!" The crowd continues to chant.

HIIIIISSSS

"No, no, no, no." Max in desperation backs a way. Duke and I can't do anything but watch in horror...

"Stop! What are you doing initiating a couple domestics?" That is until someone interrupts....hey. It's the cat that was part of the hairless ones group. You know the one who stole from us?

"Domestics?" Snowball asks.

"Yeah. We just jumped those two in the alley. Slashed off their collars."The black and white cat explains.

"No, no, no. That's not true. You said you burned your collars and Vicky would never join the humans. She would never get an owner." Snowball says in confusion.

"Well, "burned," "lost," "had them stolen by cats." It's all just words, really, isn't it?"

"Snowball.....I-I" I began but was cut off.

"No." No with just one word, I was quiet.

"You know...I use to look up to you and Ricky." He told me...and I was quite surprise.
"I used to think wow! What a bunch of animals!" He said as he looked up with stars in his eyes.
"But now....now I don't even know who you are anymore.." Snowball said.
"...." I have nothing to say.

"You don't deserve to be marked by the Viper.....nor do you deserve to have the mark of the Viper. Oh, no." Snowball says as he now wears a look of fury.
